Aren't most of these for jobs that beneit the consumer too ? Construction. Roofing. Cleaning. Painting. Landscaping. Harvesting fruit and vegetable. etc.

It's not so much big corporate employers. Smaller employers, like Trumps golf courses and hotels ? Yes. But certainly not like fortune 500, or many publicly owned companies.

I'm not convinced at all that the type of inflation in pay for those types of work, and on the consumer end for the services and profducts provided would be met by comensurate increases in middle class salaries.

My friend who is a professor has a back yard and a wall around it with razor wire on top. Before, they would set broken glass in concrete at the tops of walls to keep the other Mexicans out.

My friend who is from San Pedro Garza Garcia (a rich suburb of Monterrey) has wealthy friends who have generally all sold businesses and houses to move to Texas, Colorado or elsewhere to escape.

Unlike you, I have experience with plenty of first second third generation Mexican Americans (although by third there is often other mixed in).

And I don't see any of what you are absurdly implying is innate or genetic to be so. People are people. Teach them christian American or humanistic values, and they fit in and play well with others.

I don't know what all the causes of what you saw are. I can imagine that you could plunk me down in a desperate situation and who knows what kind of person I could become. And after a couple generations of that, even worse. "There but for the grace of God go I."

That's what's great about America. The opportunity to be better than that. To have the freedom and safety to get in touch with our "better angels." We need to preserve such spaces for people. Working class people.

I was mostly kidding, trying to argue the way you guys do (i,e. basically lying). Obama did have a very strong border security policy that was somewhat bipartisan at the time. But it wasn't politicized.

I was just looking at Facebook and in the Mexico news (which I can read because I'm bilingual) they reported a group of Mormons murdered in Northern Mexico; they were 3 women and 9 children who were found incinerated, five other children are missing and presumed dead.

The average illegal alien Mexicans are different from us and if you have ever lived there you'd know what I am talking about. I'm not referring to my friends who are largely university educated and not violating laws on either side of the border.
