That also means, get ready California is going to fuck up the Lawn Mower for the rest of us.Oh yeah, I forgot about the gas can! I've never spilled so much gas in my entire life! (And that includes filling chainsaws in rugged terrain in sub-zero temperatures while wearing cold-weather gloves.)
By time they are through the ridiculously over complicated Gas Can that is virtually impossible to get gas in and out of, without spilling gas on your hands and workplace. will be the simplest part of mowing your lawn.

I'd rather a ban on leaf blowers.
Yeah, WTF? Why are we forced to use a gas can that ALWAYS spills gas?
+1000. Especially jet engine volume 2-strokes that not only bust the ear drums, but stink up the area.
Obligatory:It's part of the Left's plan to force people to exercise...single payer has consequences.

4 stroke weed eaters, crap out in a few hours of use, the carburetors for those tiny engines don't hold up. Electric battery powered ones, shred the weeds, and wont cut think woody hardy weeds.
My dewalt electric leaf blower does my yard with half a battery to spare, not much noise maybe 80 db and no smell.
So far I have yet to see any of the CA laws for things like this to ever be enforced.
Everything corded. Way better than gas.
I was going to respond about all of the Cordless crap I have bought, but have since abandoned. And was going to tell you about the batter limitations, and the power limitations, and what a crappy replacement they generally are.
But then I see you said you have Corded electric yard tools. They probably do work better.
The battery powered Ryobi Chainsaw we bought, was worthless. It will not cut down a tree, and the size of limbs it could tackle a good set of loppers would take care of it quicker and easier.

Which blower/battery do you have? I just have a Ryobi one and a pretty small battery. Thinking of getting bigger batteries or something, I really go through few batteries with it, just drains them too fast.
"SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — If you have any gas-powered gardening tools, you may be forced to give them up soon.
California is considering a statewide ban on the equipment.
At least 60 cities in California have some kind of ban on gas-powered garden tools, but now state regulators are concerned about the impacts these tools could be having on the environment.
According to the California Air Resources Board, running a gas-powered lawnmower for an hour will produce the same amount of air pollution as a Toyota Camry driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
There are millions more small off-road engines (i.e.: gas-powered lawnmowers and leaf blowers) in California than there are light-duty passenger cars, according to the board’s estimates.
The board has set a goal of reducing smog from these machines by 80 percent by 2031."
