Has been dropping like a rock but shot back up to reach the level we were at a month ago. Either to be expected due to all of the increases in infections we've been seeing OR perhaps a delay in reporting due to the holiday.

I think the holiday is having the larger impact.

It probably is related to the increase in cases but is far less than what we had when we had half of new cases. I'm expecting swings like this but overall it will continue trending down on the 4-week moving average.

The pattern in the graph would most certainly suggest that. If it was the normal 2 day dip and then the usual spike, I'd have a little concern. It was down for 3 days so that's 3 days worth of less reporting and then pumped into the fourth day all at once. It should taper down the rest of the week, until the weekend slow down in reporting.

News this week has now been pumping super hard that young people are dying much more now. I do personally know a 2nd person now that has had it for about 8 days. Said it was rough for 2-3 days, but no different than an average flu and he's glad he got it. 37 years old. His roomate also got it and had no symptoms at all. He's in Nashville though.... Stay away from large cities is my plan. The 2 people I know got it in Chicago and Nashville. Although I do fly in about 2 weeks, so that could be tricky.

All of the local bars, have removed the stools from the bars, but have placed the high top tables near the bar, with four high top chairs around them. You can sit in the same general location, just in a different seating configuration. Makes no sense at all.

I walked in Guitar Center yesterday, I wanted to buy a new Drum key and some heads for my set. I was probably going to spend 3 to 4 hundred bucks with all of the stuff I wanted on my wish list. The guy at the door tells me I have to pull my mask up over my nose. So I pulled it up, but then I saw a guy I know that works there, and said Hi to him, as I did my mask slid down revealing my nose. He then points at my nose, I ignored him. He said you have to pull your mask up. I said it's OK I'm a protester "Hands up don't shoot!" He says no, you have to pull it up or leave.

I was the only guy in the whole store, every employee is at least 20 feet from me behind their department's counter.
I said "Fuck this commie shit, I'll buy off line, this place is dead ass empty and you're going to enforce some commie shit like this? You fools will all be out of a job by this time next year. I'll buy from Amazon not even Musician Friend(GC's sister company)"

Just witnessed this for the first time on Thursday. Why not alternate bar seats if the person is not a part of a group? Duh. Nah, just shut the bar seating down basically. I'll go in for lunch and have a beer solo after a errand or appointment. I now have to take an entire 4 top to myself. Pure stupidity.

Nah, they're black. They're safe likely. I just watched the embedded video here and not on youtube, but if they in fact put the links to the statistics mentioned, there's no way it could be pulled down. YouTube would have to admit publicly that they pulled down a black channel for citing statistics. That wouldn't go over well.
