Now why didn't Trump point out his statement in the "very fine people" hoax, that he "totally condemned" the white supremacists? He said it before and the press edited it out.
He must have calculated that not saying it again helps him somehow, but I don't see how.
The media will no doubt pounce on it, and draw attention to it, but of course they won't quote it all in context, just like the selectively edited the transcript of his comments about Charlottesville.
