Uh, no. America's military has not bred the type of General/Admiral that could be a President since WW2. Notice that most of the ex military that run for office are relatively junior and run for Congress (McCain, McSally, Luria, Scott, Glen). We did have Murtha, but he was just a political general who used government to enrich himself (ABSCAM). Americas generals are not that interested in becoming dictators, or even governors or President. Similar to how Colin Powell made it known he did not want to run for President, but was open to a cabinet position. Not sure America could have a Master Sgt Doe, who became dictator of Liberia.
