Two things:

1. @ad in the panhandle there: I just prepped a pile of Texas wild caught shrimp, faux McD's fries (hand cut plus some other voodoo) and cod for a celebratory deep fry. Texas isn't 'sending us their best'. Mushy after the defrost. My grandparents generation were gulf coast shrimpers. That's basically devastated nowadays. I was back there a few years ago visiting cemeteries and what once was long lines of shrimp boats are dilapidated and empty. Sort of cool to see a still nice harbor/port with my last name. Even though it was named after my grandpa's brother after they had a no-speaking-falling-out. Fucking Asian farms killed it.

2. While I was de-veining the shrimp my Bannon youtube feed was cut. I was literally kicked out of the youtube app entirely on my roku. Never happened before. Seems dubious but it is election night so I'm more prone to conspiracy lol.
