What corruption? Are you afraid of a valid vote count? Trump is one of the most corrupt Presidents ever, why aren't you calling that out?

Woah woah woah @astronut97

What evidence do you have that Trump is corrupt?

I know he looks sketchy, but after four years of the most hysterical witch hunt ever, they still have literally nothing on him.

Either he's squeaky clean, or a genius at hiding stuff.

I had an elephant seal do that to me when I was snorkeling in La Jolla Cove. I never went back. La Jolla smells like shit due to all of the lefty policies that have been implemented over the past 20 years.

I bet Nomo loves that shit smell.

I thought it was from all the seals that they let take over the Children's Pool near the cove to keep the tourists happy? They not only stink and pollute the water, they attract Great White Sharks!

I was on my board out in the line up a few years ago when a large seal popped his head out of nowhere and started barking at me. Scared the shit out of me.

It's the birds:

Something stinks in La Jolla.

The odor is so foul that diners near the La Jolla Cove are known to leave restaurants before their meals arrive. Tourists have told some hoteliers they won’t be returning until “that smell” goes away.

If only it were so simple.

Years ago, La Jolla residents and tourists frequented the bluffs that surround the cove but the rocky areas have since been fenced off. Cormorants, seagulls and seals have taken over, leaving behind piles of feces.

A lack of oxygen exposure or recent rain has allowed the stench to fester, and it’s done just that for months. Dry, hot conditions over the summer made it even worse. On some days, the stench travels nearly a mile from the cove.

Early this year, La Jollans started to seek a solution. They found some possibilities and asked for the city’s cooperation.

But they soon learned the complexity of their plight: The cove is one of 34 state-protected Areas of Special Biological Significance, meaning any potential solutions must be vetted by multiple layers of regulators. One regulator estimated it would take more than two years to get a single permit.

It's also seal shit. It's because they put up fences. I know some old timers that used to hang out there and they said people used to bring their dogs. So the birds and the seals stayed away.

They put up fences and let the damn seals steal Children's pool from the kids and disabled veterans. Fucking assholes. Lots of those seals aren't even from this area but catch-heal-release shit from Sea World.

Fine with me though, I don't mind if Lefty La Jolla stinks like shit and goes downhill. Fuck em. I have a nicer pad in Maui. I don't know of a single place along the coast in CA where you are literally 20 steps from a warm tropical beach vs. your couch.

I believe it was 12 or 13 floppies.

Windows 3.1 was 6.

Back in the 90s SCO Unix was also available on floppies. I don't remember the exact number but it was over 30.

SCHO now there's a Server OS for ya!
That AT&T sure knew how to make a server, computer and a server OS. It's a shame they dismantled their Computer/Server/Development departments, to focus on Lucent, and their PBX division. Especially when they lost the market share anyway to cheap Chinese phone systems shortly there after.

Maybe in the 1980's. By 1990 SunOS was far away the best, and that was based mostly on BSD. By 2000 Linux had all but wiped out all the Unix systems.

The final nail in the coffin of "Unix" was SCO/Caldera's lawsuit alleging that Linux had copied large swaths of code into the Linux kernel. After years of false claims and just outright lies, it turned out that it was SCO that had copied code from Linux into SCOX in order to make a Linux compatibility layer.

Despite attempts to shakedown large corporations, by lying to them, nobody was held accountable.

In 1991, Linux was about 100 floppies. Each disk was a set of capabilities. Linux itself was just a single floppy but you'd hardly want to work with just that.

Maybe so, but AT&T quit running in the race period, it wasn't that they were out performed.

What happened to their business class workstations and servers. NCR and NEC were their manufacturers but to their specs. When AT&T quit the computer game, those two companies disappeared.
NCR primarily does POS systems now. At one time they were far superior to Dell, or Lennovo is today, relatively.

No, there was AIX - that was IBM's Unix, but I remember in the mid 1990's, AT&T saw the writing on the wall with Linux. I had a Sun workstation and an AIX box at RCA (AIX was shared resource). It was buggy, non standard, and just hell to use. Linux was already better than both of them.

I don't know who was running IBM in the 1990s, but they sure blew the dog with all their stupid business decisions. They should have embraced Linux, they should have gotten rid of OS/2 long before they did, they should have developed their own hardware and computers, focusing both on x86 AND PowerPC. Back when XBox360 was using their PPC processor for the console, it was a top of the line CPU - I know, I was working for MS at the time. IBM was promising they were going to come out with a PPC workstation, and I couldn't wait to buy it. Finally I could get off my shitty x86 space heater and be able to use a real processor again.

But it wasn't to be.

Well, at least a Raspberry PI is pleasant and nice to work on. In many ways, it seems to be a lot cleaner, and more stable than my x86 desktop.

No, there was AIX - that was IBM's Unix,

Just a couple years earlier, and it could be a VAX mainframe that that you could remote in with terminal software running on a PC or even a Commodore 64.
