I’m thankful that life isn’t fair. Sure, there’s been plenty of times that I’ve gotten the dirty end of the stick. But I’ve ended up with more than I probably deserve and far more than my parents ever had. I’ve a wife who makes bank and is still beautiful at 43, a good job, a nice house, and three kids who are amazing. It’s been a good run and I Thank God that life isn’t fair because I don’t deserve all of His blessings.
I'm deeply thankful that all the shennanigans and stupidity I pulled when young didn't fuck me up for life, and am deeply humbled to be the beneficiary of such amazement in my life.
Also, for the Pilgrims and everything they wrought.
I am grateful for all the people more skilled than me who:
Invented modern medicine allowing all of use to live healthier and longer Invented food production and distribution so none of use go hungry Who created entertainment media like TV, radio, internet and even this blog Who created autos, aircraft, and trains that allowed me to travel the world Scientists who discovered the workings of the universe so the curious among us can read about it
thankful for my family, my health, my faith, and for my country and everything that it has accomplished over years by those who came here before me and people here.
