Currently crypto is valued in fiat. What will crypto be valued in when fiat fails?
Why do you coiners think it is the "currency of the future"?
Does my logic seem reasonable?
It's kind of sad in all honesty. Chasing a get rich quick scheme. Not understanding terminology of anything, yet spouting off how it's gonna go to $300k.
STABLE foreign currency, so that would be the Renminbi.
Farmers will do OK I think
G36 saysYou dont even own a fraction of one Bitcoin?
My FOMO got so bad I bought
My theory all along. You missed the boat and are now trying to bash Bitcoin with the hope that Bitcoin goes lower so you can afford at least a tiny piece of the pie.
I am thinking of buying a hundred acres or so within a couple of hours form where I live, but good plots go very quickly these days.
exactly! There will never be more than 21M Bitcoin! You finally got the scarcity part down!
Do your research big time on farmland. It is an easy carry if you have the cash, but there's considerations like soil quality, drainage, location, etc. The farmers are all experts in this and will screw you every chance they get. Like any industry. Also, from my experience when you go to sell it, the neighboring farmer usually is the one that wants to buy it unless there's industrial, retail or residential development coming. That's when you make bank from appreciation. Or even develop it yourself if you're inclined to (pain in the ass, but where the $$$$ is).
It's why BTC is a trading tool.
Having said that my eleven satoshis should be worth millions when btc shoots for the moon.

"artificial scarcity"
no shit Sherlock. What do you think programmable money is? Bitcoin doesnt grow on a farm, so it cant be naturally scarce.
You just cant help but keep embarrassing yourself?

So btc trolls did make you to buy some, lol. This is the sole reason for their activity.

"I'm totally embarrassed"
I know. And I have a feeling there will be many more laughable comments by you, Mr. "artificial scarcity" and "sold everything at 18k".

It is an easy carry if you have the cash,Back in the early 70's, the brother-in-law of my friend's wife who was living in Houston loved to hunt in the area of a little town called Dime Box, kind of in southeast Texas. He liked it so much he bought 100 acres at $1,000 an acre and built a small cabin on it for when he went hunting. We all laughed at him at how he was going to be paying for that land for the rest of his life. This was just before the OPEC oil embargo and the oil price spike. The price of the land included the minerals and when a test well was drilled it turned out to be a bonanza--they were guaranteed a minimum of $60K a year as far as they could see. They quit their jobs in Houston, moved to Dime Box and built a lovely house onto the cabin and lived productive lives for the next 20 years. He joined the law enforcement of the area and eventually became sheriff, she was a high school teacher. Sadly, he passed away around 2000 from Hodgkin's disease and is buried on the property. The house sits atop a beautiful hill that is terraced down to a small lake and his widow still lives there.

New name, same old stupidity. Enjoy your BTC. You don't know what you're doing. Enjoy your unrealized "euphoria" as you say. lol. Oh wait, we all know there's nothing for you to realize as you don't have anything in BTC. Maybe $100. Congrats on the big win champ!
Sad part is there are people here that have actually given good investment advice in the past. They make you look bad. Oh well.

Of course not!

See, even onvacation learns....and thats probably why he bought Bitcoin now. Education wins. You would hope wookie would learn slowly but his learning curve is more like a flat line.

I am glad you finally bought a fraction of a Bitcoin, onvacation! Congrats!

I can't wait until my bitcoin holdings reach a penny in fiat.
Oh really, so how much have you invested to make the 9% a six figure gain. Since you said, you only care about 6 figure gains, big shot?
Btw., Thanks for showing us your ignorance once again:
"Sorry. It's not the best asset class by a long shot."
I've made more off passive investments the last three years than any of the crypto cult.
everyone can make up stuff online.
