Hedge Fund Manager Says GameStop Rally is Beneficial for Bitcoin
https://mavenroundtable.io/theintellectualist/economics/hedge-fund-manager-says-gamestop-rally-is-beneficial-for-bitcoin-s75lY6XPZ0OwZpyelMDhkw

Retail investors cheered this morning as hedge funds covered their shorts on GameStop and drove the price up to nearly $400 per share. Scaramucci believes that this event was an indication of the power in decentralized finance. Investing has been completely turned on its head as low-cost online trading and high savings rates have opened the door for retail investors to flood the market.

"The activity in GameStop is more proof of concept that Bitcoin is going to work," he said. "How are you going to beat that decentralized crowd? That to me is more affirmation about decentralized finance." Short-sellers have lost around $5 billion on GameStop, according to data from S3 Partners. In 10 trading days, GameStop shares are up more than 600 percent.

I actually leisurely walked. Hard to miss 18 comments with no replies from a living soul. But hey good topic. Glad I could be the only responder in 9 days. I guess you're lucky?

Struck a nerve I guess after 18 unanswered comments. Sorry, I guess? This isn't trolling either. Just pointing out facts in front of me.

Also, not sure what type of dogs you have owned in the past. Mine don't eat their own puke or shit. Might want to make a visit to the vet if that is what your dogs are doing.

I can and should mark your comment personal, but I'm not petty, I'm an adult. I haven't attacked you. Just pointed out commenting patterns that are out of the norm and have a massive hint of spam. You got no comments for 9 days, nobody cares about the topic. Move on.

I've posted about food, beer, travel, golf, etc. here and don't get feedback. Guess what? I move on and don't post 18 comments to myself. You can take offense to what I post, but that's on you and your emotions. Has nothing to do with me.

If you're doing well in crypto great. Clearly no one here cares. Your reaction is to ban me. Patrick can do that for all I care. I like this site, but I have a life outside of this place that keeps me perfectly happy. I also know I add more content and better comments than crypto spam on a daily basis. So I got that going for me. But hey, I'm a "shit mutt." Quality add to the site by the way. lol.

Yup. Just one part of a purchase in one part of my funny money portfolio. I guess I have to lay it out to you guys that you can make more than one purchase to increase a position? Or even sell some of that position? Thought that was common sense? Guess not.

Either way 100 shares of LUV is more than the free money you received by stimulus. I didn't get any... you're welcome.
392   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 29, 7:47pm

Someone who thought Bitcoin would go to 1,200 USD most likely doesnt have a large portfolio. You also said you are good with 9%. I think 100 shares of LUV is all you have and you hope for a 9% return. very sad and funny.
Sry buddy.
393   WookieMan   2021 Jan 30, 6:22am

Listening is a skill. Stock investments that I personally make are funny money. Like going to the casino and fucking around for 5 hours. Since your fake screen shot I've made 4-5x's what you have in BTC. That will happen for the foreseeable future. You guys clearly don't have jobs or run a business. I don't need get rich schemes and I don't think most here do.

One day you'll wake up to the reality after you've made nothing on it and realize you were just spamming a forum thinking you were doing your duty to pump. I've played the penny stock game when I was younger. It was stupid and a waste of time, money and effort. I learned and figure out how to make and create real wealth. The ship has sailed on crypto unless you're hanging onto coins from 2012. Otherwise it's a volatile day trading platform and that's it. No different than the pennies. Understand what you're doing and you won't live a miserable existence.

Spamming this site and having a conversation with one other person or yourself most the time is doing nothing. Which ultimately leads me to believe you guys have $0 invested in the scheme.

Wookie when are you going to get it no 1 gives a fuck what you think, "NO ONE" and trolling this posting tells me you have a hard time dealing with that fact
and spamming this posting re-affirms you are desperate for some kind of validation and the only 1 I can give you is you are full of dog shit.

"NO ONE"

One did like my last comment, so there's that. One more than you. One more than talking to yourself for 9 days and I was the one to break the streak of 18 comments. You should be thanking me.

The thoughts in your head about crypto and the money you'll lose are going to corrupt you. You don't have to believe me, but I give you crypto guys shit because I've been there in life. You're going to end up broke if you don't change your ways. No matter who I disagree with on this board, I have no interest in seeing people suffer. That's the path you're going down. Be combative. Tell me I'm a troll. It doesn't phase me. We don't need to be friends, but if you're under 50 you're going to remember this and thank me later if you take it seriously. Or you'll be broke like 99.9% of people that have zero control over the scheme.

Your best best is to be in control of the scheme. You're too late to the game with crypto and will get burned. Start a business, do something productive. You'll be happier and not angry like all your posts show.

Nice, I only have ADA left because I am staking it at moment. I am watching DOGE for a possible momentum play due to the pump on "Welcome to the Crypto version of WallStreetBets". Just to trade and kill time before the real discounts come;)

What exchange do you stake on? I'm only staking DOT on Kraken and can't figure out how to do it on Binance.us.
403   Cash   2021 Jan 31, 9:16am

If you have a VPN you can back door Binance and not use fiat so you don't have to kyc.
I am using SurfShark for VPN
If you are a resident of Alabama, Alaska, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho,
Louisiana, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Vermont, or Washington, you will not be able
to use a Binance.us You might double check your state.

This guy made a great video how to go around kyc just follow the instruction carefully.
How To VPN Into Binance 2021 youtube.com/watch?v=xHi5lbJPFK4
This way you use/acquire BTC and do a transfer to Binance bypassing Binance.us
you'll be setup real quick this way.
404   Cash   2021 Jan 31, 9:20am

If I am just trading the basics I use Kraken they are less paper work IRS time it seems then CoinbasePro
which I use CoinbasePro if I want a quick deposit to get into a trade you can use that $$$ as soon as you deposit
but you can end up with lots of partial fills with them which is a lot of work at IRS time.
405   porkchopXpress   2021 Jan 31, 10:58am

Thanks. I’m in California so I’m able to use Binance.US

Is there any other advantage to Binance.com vs US besides bypassing the KYC process or accessing other altcoins?
406   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 31, 11:03am

@porkchopexpress
for ADA staking I use the Daedalus wallet. Yields about 5%

"Is there any other advantage to Binance.com vs US besides bypassing the KYC process or accessing other altcoins?" Cant think of one.
I use a VPN but not for crypto exchanges.....Kraken, Coinbase and Binance.US has everything I need.

HDWR wallet is def the safest. I dont know if the ledger supports ADA staking though. I got ledgers and Trezors too but certain cryptos I hold on other wallets/exchanges for staking.
Def. enable 2 way authentication on your wallets/exchanges.

Ouch, why would one need to be bought? That's a low station in life. Weird for someone to even think of that.

I'll do just fine without Musk. I do like what he's doing with SpaceX, but he not 100% correct. Obviously he likes BTC because it's very much like how he's gained all his wealth through OPM. Which is what I do instead of giving it to guys like Musk or other rich people fleecing regular people through BTC.

Once someone learns how to get people to give them money, life changes. Giving other people money is how you lose. And yes, I have investments, but I don't rely on them at all. It's like going to Vegas. It's a hobby that burns time when I'm bored. I win some and lose some. Oh well. No one should care what Musk is doing with his money unless they're sheep is the bottom line. You're late to the game at that point...

Nope, said I wouldn't be surprised, there's a distinction there... whatever. Crypto guys give me my comedy relief on a daily basis during a pandemic. Brings a smile to my face during these rough times where people gotta chase every dollar they can get. I like sitting back and watching it. Late night shows have ceased to be funny so I need to get some comedy somewhere. Thank you.
416   Bitcoin   2021 Feb 1, 11:34am

@WookieMan,

So, now that the price didnt go to 1,200USD (as you predicted) and is at over 30k, do you regret your horrible prediction?

Do you remember when you said "Ready to eject" when Bitcoin was at around 4K? Wouldnt that have been a nice buying opportunity....so again the opposite? :)

Quote the prediction. Either way, I'm totally confident in what I'm doing. I just love giving you guys shit as your sensitivity levels are at max. You don't get sarcasm or jokes. Or success. I'm good where I'm at. I'm just having fun. The defensiveness is blatantly obvious of your position though. You'll eventually learn, I think.
