I don't think secret ballots are going to help incumbents without a heavy dose of fraud.
1. Supported a court of Star Chamber with no process to review evidence/interview witnesses in House Impeachment.
2. Voted for impeachment without approval of majority of House GOP.
3. Was just retained in her Conference Chair by 145-61.
4. Secret ballot, of course.
