Gina Carano Rehired By Disney After She Identifies As An Abusive Male Director
What REALLY Got Gina Carano Cancelled
Don’t believe the lies about “racism”, the actress and former athlete has been found guilty of wrongthink. Nothing more. ...
As I wrote yesterday, reality itself is under a prolonged assault, and we have to struggle to stick up for what words mean. For what is real.
But, if Carano didn’t say anything racist, why has she actually been fired?
Well, this is not the first time she has courted controversy on social media. She has made many posts critical of enforced mask-wearing, questioning the Covid vaccine, suggesting the 2020 election may have been rigged, and just generally not buying into pandemic hysteria. (Just yesterday, she was posting that Epstein didn’t kill himself. Which he obviously didn’t).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, LucasFilm have been “looking for a reason to get rid of her for months”. Which is even stronger evidence that this has nothing to do with any supposed “racism”, and everything to do with rigidly enforcing a consensus.

I can’t stand Amy Schumer. I swear there’s a 600 pound sow in her family tree.
In all honesty, I was never really down with the Hollywood created butch wanna be man, gender-bending female characters ... so I can actually care less....
If you’ve ever wondered why so many “canceled” people resort to publicly denouncing their previous statements, and decide to profusely and abjectly apologize – The Mandalorian star Gina Carano, who was recently fired by Lucasfilm, is now shedding some light on that topic.
These apologies may not be as sincere as they are supposed to sound and may in fact be “scripted” and coming under pressure. In conversation with Bari Weiss, a former New York Times columnist, Carano revealed that Lucasfilm and Disney tried to make her apologize over one of the earlier controversies on social media – when she was attacked online for refusing to add her pronouns to her bio.
Carano, who is conservative and was eventually fired for re-sharing an Instagram post that compared current political and social climate to that in Nazi Germany in the 1930s, said that last year, ahead of The Mandalorian launch, the entertainment industry giants wanted her to use “their exact wording for an apology over pronoun usage.”
She told Weiss that she refused and instead came up with her own statement, that explained her intention was not to mock transgender people, but to speak against “the abuse of the mob in forcing people to put pronouns in their bio.”
Patrick saysI'll always love Gina for mocking the stupid demand that she publish pronouns for herserlf:
I did that at work for my Slack name: It/Cousin It
HR did not come down on ey but my boss tried to get me to pull it. He said, 'that is for when people feel the need to seriously identify how they want to be addressed"
Me: "Yeah, and? Are you saying this isn't me being serious? Because I am."
Him: "But that is a mockery of the pronoun thing"
Me: "yes. And I take it very seriously"
I ended up pulling it tho. I already have been Cancel fired once last year...and it was because of what happened on Slack.
Eric Holder saysWait, there is as special field for that on Slack?90% communications via Slack.
just_passing_through saysHahaha ya got me. I was just digging around slack trying to find it.
Shit. Didn't mean to do that. But then again, I never said there was specific field for it. I only said,'I did that at work for my Slack name: It/Cousin It'.
So the only 'field' I could have referenced there (indirectly I might add) was the name fields. Which exist.

Actor Gina Carano sues Lucasfilm and Disney over her firing from 'The Mandalorian'
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Actor Gina Carano on Tuesday sued Lucasfilm and its parent The Walt Disney Co. over her 2021 firing from “ The Mandalorian,” saying she was let go for expressing right-wing views on social media.
In a story with potentially Galactic consequences, scrappy ex-MMA fighter and actress Gina Carano enjoyed a huge legal win yesterday. The actress starred as a popular regular in Disney’s top new Star Wars-themed show The Mandalorian. But Disney fired her in 2021 over a conservative tweet.
Yesterday, California U.S District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett wrote a 23-page order denying Disney’s motion to dismiss Carano’s lawsuit. ...
With its motion to dismiss having been denied, Disney now, just like ABC, faces discovery. And in Disney’s case, discovery will be much more potentially risky and damaging than the kind of discovery ABC faces. Just imagine all the virtue-signaling emails about Carano that must have been shooting around the woke media company at the time.
They picked the wrong ex-MMA bounty hunter to pick on. If Disney were smart, it would settle. But Disney is woke, not smart, so who knows. But Judge Garnett just handed Carano a fully-charged blaster.
