Only go for diagnostics, do your research well if you need a skilled surgeon, otherwise figure out the appropriate therapy for the diagnosis yourself, if any needed. You are your own advocate. Also get 2nd or 3td opinions if you need one.

@HeadSet - This is precisely what they are.

I'd trust my VETERINARIAN over a general practitioner and I'm 100% serious about that.

Typical doctors are just, well, stupid in my opinion.

Today, I heard about one renowned hospital treating their hard working and passionate employees in a dubious manner. Doesn't make sense to give employees who provide healthcare services zero shits. No wonder employees are quitting this profession or changing their profession whenever they can. Where are we headed in this industry? There was a time when hospitals had Department of Preventive Medicine. Not any more. There was a time when hospitals were run by nuns, not any more, they have been bought up and turned into for profit businesses.
