I'm not a believer exactly, but I think religion has a lot of value even if you don't believe literally. Community, a set of rules, and encouragement to treat others as you wish to be treated.

My Dad was an devout ashiest, and a firm believer in Voltaire's notion about the necessity of religion, if God didn't exist.
