Had conversations with few in India. People are getting infected who got vaccinated! At my neighborhood pretty much all going through pain who got jab. One woman ended up in urgent care and went through ct scan for the unstoppable a week long headaches and body pains. Good that she says is ok now. Depends on the group. I don't use FB often. Some groups are wide open though, I know that for sure. I have a few groups I run currently for trips we're going on. Even in a closed group though generally people know each other. If they're BS'ing they may not get called out, but it will bring into question the integrity of the person BS'ing even if nothing is said.

I don't like FB, but it has it's place. We have 30+ people going to St. Thomas in October. It does serve a function for organizing people as much as I hate it.

That's a false statement. On the surface it's roughly comparable to measles on avg. but measles can be see serious for all ages and with or without comorbidities. For an otherwise healthy person the rate of covid is significantly lower. If you add in the fact that there's massive undetected asymptomatic covid but hardly any asymptomatic measles then covid is far less lethal than measles.
