True but they are also hardened. A lot of common infections don't bother the homeless since they developed immunity - they usually die of overdoses, alcohol, organ failure etc. not viral infections (maybe bacterial ones if they have an open wound otherwise none) . Also they are usually much leaner than the avg. which clears them of the most significant risk factor. If you wear a mask every day and stay inside then yeah the next big one may get you once you leave your basement again. I contracted the flu at least 2 or 3 times in the past 15-20 years and it was a big event each time as it usually is with the real influenza. But nobody gave me any sympathy or shout-outs or forced others to wear a mask. I think overall Covid is lesser than the flu it's just new and was very contagious (not more than the flu but we have vaccinated people each year) without a vaccine), plus we moved everyone who died with a cold or flu into the covid death count so it's incredible hard to get an accurate count. I would say though if you counted flu deaths the same way as covid, i.e. positive test or presumption is enough we have a bad flu season with more infections than usual, nothing more and nothing less. When Obummer was in office and H1N1 response was botched the leftoid lamestream media didn't give a shit. I agree that I wish Trump would have stayed hard line on covid, he was going to get ousted either way, giving into fear-mongering wasn't his best move although he never fear-mongered to the level of the leftoids.

Hard to believe that over the entire time of this severe pandemic we never once had to resort to naval hospital ships or army MASH units.

I was in a hospital emergency room with my spouse for his issue (leg infection) and overheard the person in the next room through the curtain. She was there after her recent 2nd jab, maybe 50-60-ish person, couldn't see without being too obvious, a little overweight. She had extreme leg pain, and something like restless leg syndrome. They kind of waved her off, told her to get some compression stockings. It seemed like they thought she was overreacting. Later in the day while waiting in the hospital for spouse's issue, a friend who is 51 and extremely liberal type who got the 2 MRNA jabs was texting us. He was going to come up to our property and borrow our truck so we were corresponding. Then suddenly he said he had taken ill, with headache, fever, chills, diarrhea. 14 days after 2nd jab. He said he might take a Covid test and was in disbelief as he said "but I am fully vaccinated!!!" He knows my stance on this, but I don't rub it in. It ain't a vaccine, dear...This guy is an extreme athlete.

Next day, spouse is in the hospital getting treatment for leg issue, and one of the nurses and I have a discussion about the "vaccine". She is 30, 2 kids. Had Covid and so did her spouse, not a big deal, spouse didn't even know he had it but they did antibody tests, and they were both positive. She was completely against the "vaccine". Healthcare professional who won't take this crap and will never give it to her kids. She found out her dad took the JNJ one and was miffed at him.
