I believe I've read numbers of 40%+ of the military has gotten the shot in past articles...

However, these are the real numbers...

*23% of the military force is fully vaccinated.
*The Navy is at 40%.
*The Marine Corps is almost 27%.
*The Air Force and Space Force are at 25%.
*The Army is at 14.5%.

https://sharylattkisson.com/2021/06/only-14-5-of-u-s-army-fully-vaccinated-for-covid-19/

Only the Navy comes close to that metric.

I have a few friends who are active duty, and they have told me that they are making your life a living hell if you don't get the shot, with stupid isolation rules and multiple quarantines lasting weeks/months if being deployed.

If this is the case, I wonder what the real vaxx rate is nationally.

If the soldiers are being punished for this, they could quit in protest or submit a statement declaring their intentions to quit if the vaccine/Covid punishment isn’t stopped immediately. What could the brass do if 80% of the army quit? Nothing they would be Fucked and lose their jobs.

Wait a sec: if a soldier is not vaxxed he spends his deployment in a quarantine barrack instead of being in the field, under enemy fire? Some punishment, lol.

I don't think you can just quit the army.

I wouldn't recommend it if you want work afterward, but yes, I believe you actually can quit. Contracts and agreements are broken all the time. I don't think military is special. Just might be dishonorable discharge if you use military service as a reference in the future. So basically couldn't use military as a reference.

My back of napkin guess based on who I know has been vaccinated, is probably 50-60%. My wife and I are the odd ones out in most situations. "Did you get vaccinated yet?" No (but I say yes). I guess I wonder how many people are playing the same game. I'm just going to lie. I also have a legit excuses for not taking it with high hereditary BP and the clotting side effects. Also covid won't kill me and even vaccinated I can still spread it to the unvaccinated. So there's no point.

I think that's how this thing was engineered. Easy spread, kill vulnerable/old. Create a vax and try and force people to take it under fear of death even though you can still kill grandma with the vax. Not sure if it was over Trump or overall globalism. I don't trust the FDA, but if the vaccines haven't even crossed that threshold, I'm out indefinitely. Everyone should be honestly.

The answer to "Did you get vaccinated yet?" is:"Have you signed up for the 3rd shot?" and instead of looking pissed or disgusted, try to look enthusiastic and cheery/smiling while answering the question with a question. Chances are that you will be amused by their reaction.

I simply answer "yes", because, technically, I've been vaccinated many times against variety of diseases. I even have one of these WHO "yellow books" with some of vaccinations listed there. =))

And, technically, the experimental biologic agent is not a vaccine.

By default gives you an out even if you didn't take it. "Yes, I've gotten my vaccineS." So technically you're not even lying, if you feel guilty about that. I don't. Covid won't kill me. But if someone asks me if I've got the vaccine, I just say yes, I've been vaccinated. That's not a lie.

Yeah, but if they have to travel between states, or go to another country, they are quarantining for multiple weeks at each place. It's beyond insanely stupid and doesn't make any rational sense.
