I just saw bitcoin silence today and wondered wtf, where was all the cheering?
I know it's still up at like 40k, but uhh.. how did 20% of this amazing store of value evaporate in 2 days?

Hint. this is still speculation even though it is up.

Have fun speculating, but remember to limit your exposure, and diversify your investments.

Now Bitcoin is at $29,000. That's it. I am selling my Bitcoin and investing in safer assets based on solid fundamentals: Meme stonks, SPACs, and NFTs.

My guess is up from here. Three failed attempts at breaking support (Rule of 3), high probably it was basing and will go higher until it's meets resistance in upper 30's.

You should ask, where the clowns that predicted Bitcoin to go to 1.2k?
Or, where are the clowns that said Bitcoin will never reach its previous high (20k)
Or, where the clowns that predicted Bitcoin will go to zero?

I know, I know....when Bitcoin dips, you perma bears feel confident to open your mouth....when its running up, we get silence.
Bitcoin has its way to slap the haters left and right.....just be patient.

Still will. Maybe lower. There's no physical or fundamental value. That's indisputable. Present an argument otherwise. You still haven't. It's a ponzi scheme and you're the one paying the whales. In finance, whales get bored and move on. Crypto is worthless.

I know somoeone who has a wall full of beanie's in a plexiglass wall case... and I cannot tell her shit about her decisions... she sells low and buys high... Now she has to sell her $42K car for $31K because of her ass backwards financial decisions. She complains, and I throw an idea out to help, but she cannot think outside the box. A part of me wants to see her go belly up. The old man is loosing his pep in his step... He has no Dough to spend... He let her manage it all..
Their are so many stupid humans out there that think so shallow.

I used to bang a chick in SF who lived on Haight and Masonic. Two bedroom place that used to be the 'free clinic' back in the 60s during the hippy thing. Nice place after it was remodeled and she lived in it.. Although instead of crown molding she had her Pez collection all along the ceilings. Yes, those candy dispensers. She believed they would make her rich someday.

Aside from the cat hair the sex was good.
326   Ceffer   2021 Jul 2, 11:11pm

I need to start doxing people around here so I can torture them for their passwords and steal all of their bitcoin.
327   clambo   2021 Jul 3, 6:53am

Seesaw made an astute observation.
On the other hand, if females had their own money they might be harder to bribe into doing a man’s bidding.
Food for thought.

Man you're making me nostalgic with all the bang stories. Fact is I mostly did have a great time in SF and certain banged quite a few chicks, and they, like the city, all had their own charm. I'd say SF retained at least some of that charm at least up until the rebound from the 2008 recession started, so really the last 10 years turned it into complete shit with covid, chesa b and the rest of the corrupt fucks as its death knell. The city did harbor some beauties and good sex back then.

Are the bitcoin purchasers at $60k whole again yet? When can we tell them that bitcoin only goes up again?

nice buying opportunity. Bitcoin will consolidate for a few month until we see the next leg up.
335   Zak   2021 Jul 8, 9:13am

Just wondering.. is there a shortage of bitcoin? It seems someone is still buying it for $32k a piece. What are they producing with those bitcoins anyway?

yeah, smart investors usually buy the dip. Has paid off bigly. I am predicting at least 100k per Bitcoin this bull cycle (by 2022).
337   Zak   2021 Jul 13, 3:57pm

Ping.. bitcoin still down 50% ? Is that a haircut? As the black knight would say, "tis but a flesh wound" ?
338   Bitcoin   2021 Jul 14, 8:48am

Donald says
This 50 % dip is just a healthy correction before we make new all time highs

Exactly....cant go up in a straight line....need to correct and consolidate. Look at the previous bull runs.....we didnt go from 1000 to 20,000 in a straight line. corrections are needed to build support levels.
339   Misc   2021 Jul 19, 9:29pm

The Fed talking about regulating "stable coins" (you know actually having some sort of collateral behind them) has gotten people worried.

Only about $1 trillion in market value has gone to money heaven. There's just not much liquidity on the buy side right now for something that only trades a few billion a day.

One guy I know made few million in Bitcoin. Yes pump and dump guy. Some suckers lost few million.

got kinda quiet here.....Crypto must be up?

Ah, I forgot....when Bitcoin is moving up, the haters "dont care"....since...."they never cared"

except....when Bitcoin is correcting.....then the cheerleader gear is put on and the haters celebrate like there is no tomorrow.
342   clambo   2021 Aug 9, 2:19pm

I still don't care.
I ran into a female at the gym who told me about her son yelling at her to buy Ethereum.
She even sent me a link to some article about it.
She said she's thinking about buying some.
I told her gambling is fun when you're winning.
The suckers who paid $60,000+ for Bitcoin are as quiet as church mice.
She's sort of pissed off at me now, I guess I disrespected her son somehow.

Fact is: If they havn't sold they haven't lost a cent. correct? Just like the 1s who didn't sell at 20k are more than 100% profit. Correct? Facts is facts brother ;)
More then likely end game her son rolls the dice and it makes him bank...

Personally I wouldn't be putting my tennis shoes and go chasing price here ;) 47k+/- is a rough neighborhood and could be the start of a nice big BTC smack down.
345   clambo   2021 Aug 9, 5:36pm

I know if someone rode it down after paying $60,000 for Bitcoin he has not yet realized a loss.
He’s just sitting around biting his fingernails hoping for a miracle, and he is likely not bragging here or anywhere else.
Meanwhile I collect interest, capital gains, dividends and sometimes my shares multiply from a split (e.g. Apple).

Clambo has a very simplistic view of investing. If Bitcoin is not trading at all time highs every single day he will continue to say but but but yesterday some "sucker" bought at the all time high. There just isnt enough processing power in his brain to understand there are people sitting on massive crypto gains because the simply dollar cost avg and held on.

he was saying the same stuff last cycle when the all time high was 20k. he was also never understand that some people invest in stocks and crypto. It doesn't haven't to be an either or.

Bitcoin broke through overhead resistance.....ideally you see a back-test / bounce off the support line and we are off to the races for the next leg up.
348   just_passing_through   2021 Aug 9, 8:14pm

So what. He has his investment platform that's worked very well for his age range. You have yours. I'm somewhere in the middle.

Arguing about it all the time just makes me do stupid stuff like accidentally attacking cash.

exactly. my words. Nobody is trying to tell anyone to buy crypto or apple....some are crypto cheerleaders and some are haters. posting the same BS is just silly.

"I dont care" whenever Bitcoin is up but I cheer when Bitcoin corrects is just silly.
Same as comparing 105% stock gains over 5 years with 130% gains in Bitcoin since November 2020. Just silly.

well ya, nobody said it wouldn't....I own APPL too....but i diversify and have a significant amount in crypto (and RE).
some people like to take the scenic route and some like 10x gains :)
352   clambo   2021 Aug 10, 7:00am

Knowing what I am doing I guess may be called simple by some.
10x gains sound like my AAPL. When the shares go up another 14 bucks I’ll be an Apple millionaire.
People are actually buying Apple products and services. Apple pays me a dividend higher than my first paychecks.
My funds are up probably 10x or more, but I bought them long ago.
Ethereum, Bitcoin and the rest are either hope, fear, or something else but they are not investments.
I actually enjoyed telling that dried up hag that cypto was bullshit.
She’s still working at 68 for lack of money and prior planning. Her sons don’t have real money.
I don’t listen to people who are still going down to the salt mines for necessity.
My father would not always like my ideas and he said “If you’re so smart why aren’t you rich?”

if your time horizon is a decade....certainly!

you have the right idea though....10x gotta be the goal.....9%-15% annually just doesnt cut it.....look at inflation (5.4% in June)

Just checked my Ethereum performance. 185% within less than 12month. I couldnt agree more with Clambo's dad......dont just tell yourself how great your stocks did over a decade.....there is a reason why smart (and rich) people are diversified and invest in stocks, RE and Crypto (Elon Musk, Cathie Wood, Jack Dorsey, Michael Saylor, Mark Cuban...)

Unlike Magic Internet Money, Apple Products actually exists.

Buttcoin has already been stolen, hacked, and manipulated. And confiscated by governments.
