In Las Vegas right now and masks required indoors. Outside no ones wearing them…too hot. Wife would be plenty fine with no mandate.
Actually quite proud of her. A lifelong Democrat, I asked her if she’s voting to recall Newsome and she said hell yes. She hates the shutdowns and mask mandates. We stopped in Barstow and wore masks into the Starbucks where no one was wearing a mask and she asked me why. I said it was because the mask mandate was LA County and we were in SB County. She said “oh so we’re the only idiots that have that”!
She said she’s voting for Larry Elder.
We’ve been together since 2013, married for 6 years, minimal nudging from me. She came to these conclusions herself. She voted for Biden so there’s still always to go, but there’s rea genuine progress and it’s all her personal development.

On vacation with the fam at the Grand Canyon this week. On Monday there were a hundred people in the gift shop,

Go back on Tuesday and about 75% of the people in the shop were masked, but none of the staff or rangers were. I don't get it.
Outside the gift shop it was life as normal with a few mask holes out of every thousand people or so. Life operated as normal on the trails and campgrounds.
