Colin Powell, the first Black US secretary of state , has died from complications from COVID-19, his family said on Facebook.

“General Colin L. Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, passed away this morning due to complications from COVID-19,” read a statement posted to his official Facebook page.

“He was fully vaccinated. We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment. We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American.”

Powell's leadership in several Republican administrations helped shape American foreign policy in the last years of the 20th century and the early years of the 21st.

Pure manipulation. He didn't die because of covid. I have no proof, but it will come out. Convinced of that. They want you vaccinated and they want it scary that you can still die vaccinated. Not sure why.

Unvaccinated people are going to be shunned, more so than they already are. I could die from flu with or without that jab. This is an endemic virus everyone will get. Fortunately it only kills old people for the most part that at least got a life. Say that to the parents who have lost a child due to a virus, bacteria, cancer, etc. at 5 years old. Say that to people who are nearing 2 years to flatten the curve.

It might upset some users but fuck boomers. You're little pussies. Maybe you should have taken better care of yourselves. Stop fucking with younger people that won't die from covid. Nah, big pharma will solve all our problems. This is a fucking joke.

Sorry, in a bad mood.

Lol. All good.

What's funny:

My wife's parents are in their early 60's. Believe 100% of the propaganda. Got their shots and demand everyone else gets them as well.

My parents are mid 70's and don't give a shit what other people do. They don't buy the propaganda and embrace the "live, let live" attitude.

Wondering if those 10-15 years of age difference add up to radically different world views.

THIS is the problem. Fear of death. They've all likely dealt with it with their parents dying at their age. You're going to die. Stop worrying about it and live a fun life. Don't screw over younger people and even kids. Dick move. Let's just get legit herd immunity and this goes away.

Don't think so: my neighbors are in their 60s and they didn't buy any of this coof BS from day one, running around like nothing was happening even when everybody was sitting at home and spraying their vegetables with bleach.

Life expectancy for a Black Man at birth in the U.S. is like 72.
Powell did pretty damn good. I wonder did he get "Boostered" in the last few days or weeks.

His family DID say he was fully vaccinated! For the oldster crowd that now includes a third jab.

Either that or they figure that they are going to die soon anyway.

I'm disappointed in Powell because I felt he betrayed the country by helping sell the Neocon agenda when he had the knowledge and position to put the brakes on when it really mattered.

As for his death, it doesn't look like anything us anti-covid-vax folks can gloat about. He was undergoing cancer chemotherapy (Hodgkins?) so his immune system was hosed going in. Can't really count this as a "covid w/vax" death. He was already at death's door, knocking loudly. His immune system was offline, vaccine or none.

Report it to VAERS,

I’m a boomer and I didn’t think young people should have been kept away from working, or told to take the shot or be fired, or restricted in any way.

My boomer friends are not happy with the bullshit panic spreading and abuse of our rights.
Some of my boomer friends are requesting that I buy some Ivermectin while I am in Baja California Sur Mexico.

Most of the boomers I know took the shot because they believe that they are fucked if they catch a bad case of Wuhan.

The ones who requested Ivermectin didn’t take the shot.

Funny you say that. My mom, who is super based traveled down here last week.

I asked if she was concerned about covid - her response was "nah, if I start producing any symptoms, I packed my Ivermectin just in case."

I didn't believe her till she pulled out a bottle. Her and my dad bought it as a precautionary.

None of us are his doctor, this is all speculation till a final autopsy report is released. That said, someone undergoing chemotherapy is vulnerable to all kinds of infections, and very likely to die of diseases healthy people routinely shrug off. They are as atypical as populations get when it comes to vulnerability.

It's perfectly medically plausible that a person in his condition would die of almost any disease, including many not normally considered life threatening. Sensible people don't equivocate this to rare actual or trumped-up fake "covid deaths" in healthy people.

I think of all the kids that never had a "Senior Summer", Prom, or anything else, and never will. Because of Karens.

Yeah, nobody gives a shit about COVID in the 65+ areas. I chatted for an hour with a guy and we were talking about the Plandemic.

The Biggest COVID Karens are women in their 30s, I find.

He had the credibility and gravitas that would have enabled him to stop that shit in its tracks. History doesn't get The Great Man it needs very often. Obama passed up more opportunities than most to rise up and change the course of history. When the Supremes affirmed Citizens United he could have gone out the next day and said "Our Republic cannot survive this law! We must change it right now!" and rallied the Nation.
At least in my grief-ridden delusional nostalgia version....

... but the fucking jorno fucks feel free to speculate and declare his cause of death as "covid".

It's perfectly legit and plausible in an immunocompromised chemotherapy patient. Covid, the common cold, the long term symbiotic resident E. coli strain right out of one's own asshole... All of these can easily kill someone during and after chemotherapy or other immune compromise conditions.

Yeah there were lots of ridiculous cases assigned an implausible "covid" cause of death because of perverse financial incentives given to hospitals. Even knowing this and being outraged by the whole situation, I don't see Colin Powell's case as belonging in that category. This applies no matter how deliciously ironic I would find it if it were actually so. (Not very delicious in this particular case, just saying.)

My comment wasn't about the average boomer. It's about those boomers in power. I'd have a beer with any boomer on this forum. We have good friends and clients that are boomers. The decisions being made right now are awful and it's because of boomers in power.

Boomers are now age 56 to 78. He’s well into the Silent Generation, like Biden and Fauci. Trump’s a Boomer.

I posted in another thread, look up the average age of Congress. The House is a touch lower, Senate higher, but yeah, average is around 52-56. Don't know the median, but it's safe to say boomers wield the most power in the legislative branch of this country. They are at a much higher percentage of dying. So they lead in fear. Again, not saying boomers are bad, just our leaders who tend to be boomers. Power corrupts and dying takes that power away.
