Last time the Conservative Beaver came up, I called BS on that story they ran at the time, which also failed to pan out. They're trying to bait conservatives all right, but are not masters of their trade.

On a serious note, even if this isn't a deliberate honey pot placed by the end user, any reader can observe who took the bullshit bait and ran with it. Everyone from law enforcement and spy agencies, to advertisers and data aggregators, to political parties and propagandists, to influencers and agitators. Each such opportunist gets to choose whether to discreetly observe, or unlike the olden days, directly engage down to a granular one on one level.

Just as the Far Left works with the Neolibs to control the MSM... they lose most of their influence.

A lot of the snarky, angry screeds on CNN, MSNBC, in the WaPo, etc. originate with Journoactivists' perception that their influence is Waning.

Because they still see themselves as impartial reporters merely telling and explaining The Truth, they figure if they get very angry and table banging, why, if Walter Kronkite was moved to such actions, people would take it seriously.

They aren't aware that their reputation is far, far lower than Kronkite's, who himself was very much an elitist.
