That's a lot of trouble to go to for something you can't even smoke.

Where does the sealed system get its CO2?
3997   Patrick   2021 Nov 21, 7:55pm

Plants give off some CO2 at night, iirc.

I believe terrariums also normally include bugs. In addition, dead plant material is converted to CO2 as well over time through bacteria.

I'm a bit leary on that as well. My experience says it would just rot.

My sister built a terrarium back when I was a kid. I know it went on for longer than a year.

They aren't that unusual or difficult to make.

You can make a pretty simple terrarium - just fill a glass jug with seawater and some sand. You'll be surprised what springs up. It will reach equilibrium or die off entirely. If you get any large creatures in it by accident, when it dies, it's quite likely to radically change the environment.

When you need a weed whacker to find the beef. In the olden days, did they even need rags for their periods, or did they just wring out their bush?

It doesn't offend anybody. It's just not attractive to a large segment of the male population.

Yes, just like a lot of women do not like beards on men.

She looks stinky, offensively stinky.

We always used to laugh at those old European 'barbarian' movies on TV, because when the women 'barbarians' would raise their arms, they would show massive pit hair. It was a thing that was routine in Europe, if it isn't still.

I had a Danish girl friend for a while, and she didn't shave her arm pits. She was a bit musky, but I got used to it.
4008   Patrick   2021 Nov 23, 10:16am

I believe the American custom of women shaving under their arms has come to Europe.

It's also true that American women did not shave their pubic hair until fairly recently. I don't like it. Trimming if it's out of control, OK, but Barbie-doll, no.

If only dese wimmins realized that the shaved beaver is a pedo turn-on, since it imitates the appearance of the prepubescent pubic mound . . .

Lol, there was a gay bar in Chicago called "The Manhole".

I have to admit that gays generally do at least have a sense of humor.

Now I know what rope poles are called LOL.

Should've learned that from JANUARY 6TH DEADLY INSURRECTION. Lecterns and stanchions!

The people that said they were taking the shot when it became available, all seemed to have the same talking point.

"I did my own research and I determined the ______ vaccine is the safest. "

Think in terms of "the left". That represents somebody that didn't believe the mainstream narrative.

The left CAN meme (sometimes), but it's rare they can.
4033   Karloff   2021 Nov 27, 10:55pm

That tombstone joke isn't particularly funny because it's too generic. You could put anything on there and it "works".

"I believed big pharma"
"I trusted natural immunity"
"Got my second shot"
"Ate at Arby's"
..etc.
