I'd probably still vote for him, but he fucked up on covid massively. Fauci should have been fired after 15 days to stop the spread. This isn't our first rodeo with a virus. People will die. He also likely knew about it since August to September of 2019 and how it was hitting the Chinese. It was 6 months later that it became something of a problem. That's his fucking job to know this stuff and Fauci failed to the max. He should have been canned and Trump didn't do that. And now we're stuck with this New York sounding ass hat.

I don't blame Trump for anything other government assholes like Fauci did.
Fauci is actually skilled in politics and likely was difficult to terminate.

Trump destroyed the credibility of media - well, really exposed it as propaganda. He demonstrated that our own intelligence agencies ACTIVELY work against the Constitution and protect criminals like Jeffrey Epstein and other pedophiles - two producers in CNN are pedophiles, NOTHING will happen to them. He demonstrated the DOJ will engage in HIGHLY selected prosecution which is why when Washington DC had riots when Trump was elected nobody went to jail, but when somewhere between 1/2 million and 1.5 million people showed up to protest an obvious stolen election, 500 of them ended up in solitary confinement.

It doesn't matter what Trump is, what matters is what he's done. You can see just how entirely criminal your government is now, you can no longer deny it, you can't pretend your vote matters any more, you can't pretend we have a free press, and you can't any longer say the intelligence agencies are on our side.

That's more than any president has done in my 50 years of existence.

Trump fired the head of the FBI almost immediately. Fauci is a nothing bureaucrat that no one really would have cared if he fired. If it was one of Trump's corporations he'd have been fired. He may be anti-mandate, but he's certainly still pushing to get a vaccine even now when he speaks on it.

I get he's trying to undermine Biden and that he was the one that got the vaccines pushed through in record time, but I'm not certain that's a positive with a lot of people. The FDA has still not approved any of them. If he wants to run in 2024 I think that may come back to haunt him. Dems are good at the long game. They'll start reporting on VAERS issues with the vaccine and blame Trump for it. Say he rushed it and injected people with poison and misled the country it was safe.

People don't have the best of memories. It's easy to spin this. Biden would fire Fauci and he then looks like the hero. All at an age where neither Biden or Fauci have any fallout personally for what they have done because they're almost dead. Their families are set financially.

I don’t want Trump again.
Let’s get someone better for the job.
And really stick a fork in the Donkeys forever.

OK, maybe he opposed the mandate, but look at this:

Former President Donald Trump told an audience of his supporters they are “playing right into their hands” by expressing doubt about or not getting COVID-19 vaccines.

Fuck Trump. I'm done with him.

The vaxx is dangerous and completely ineffective at stopping the spread. Also seems to be ineffective at reducing symptoms.

It does nothing but kill random people, shovel money to Pfizer, and expand government power.

I suspect Trump was in on this crime against humanity from the start of 2020. Maybe Fauci recruited him.

The only thing he could do to regain my confidence is to admit that the vaxx is pure evil and must be stopped immediately.

What do you think of him letting Assange rot?

To me what he does is tries to win over the RINO / neocons, not his base, that's why he was on stage with O'Reilly this week. He has his base's vote no matter what (maybe not you personally anymore but almost everyone else) as long as he's anti mandate. That's why he let Assange rot, and why his lip service is pro jab but policy is anti mandate.

Is it ugly? Yes, very. All wars have casualties.

Rishwicks is correct.

How perfect was Trump supposed to be? I read here he better walk on water or he’s no good.

Firing Fauci was politically difficult and would have been almost useless, and likely make things worse for Trump.

Trump reacted quickly to stop people flying in to the USA from China.

The vaccine is not as risky as getting sick for certain groups of people; if you’re over 65 your immune system is weak. I don’t know any dead but I know a couple of guys who had a tough time.
The vaccine doesn’t stop the spread of the virus but you are likely to not get as sick as you would without it.

Trump was proceeding with the vaccine as a possible solution, he had to do something rather than get himself beaten up in the media for talking about HCQ and other treatments.

I don’t think young people need the vaccine, nor should they be forced into taking it.

I will not change my opinion of Trump one bit, he did his best; no previous president ever mentioned American workers nor the criminal illegal aliens, nor fought back against the fake media.

If he runs again, I’m sending him the 2 grand maximum; I don’t care, that’s a couple weeks of dividends.

It should have been done 30 years ago, firing Fauci. I agree with your other points though. But Fauci should have been canned. No one predicted Covid, but keeping him on board was his biggest failure for sure. I'd still vote for him if the election was tomorrow.

Hindsight is 20/20, but now knowing the outcome of the election in 2020, firing Fauci may have boosted his votes. Not lessened them. No way of knowing, but Fauci is a cunt either way.
12   PerfectlyFlawed   2021 Dec 22, 1:00pm

With the whole 'President Trump' psychological operation performed on right-leaning Americans, all they did was sacrafice the obvious. They basically couldn't deny the existing corruped state of affairs any longer, especially with independent/non-corporate journalism on the rise and the eroding legitimacy or legacy media. So now the all-out corruption is in our face. Thank you Trump?/!

I've heard that.

All of my nieces and nephews have been coming down with Omicron. Luckily they have been boosted. One barely dodged the bullet and got the Omicron just three days after the booster. He says it's like a bad cold.
14   Onvacation   2021 Dec 22, 1:05pm

Lucky they got the booster. It could have been worse.

Ppl, how does Trump fire Fauci?

Trump, unlike myself, has a background in neither chemistry nor biology. He's unable to form teams of the brightest minds in the world because he's in constant competition with them, believing that he's the number one intellectual in the room.

And thus, he falls back to the political mainstay standard which is that the Director of the NIH, the most prestigious anointed chief of the federal arm of medicine, run the show. And thus, his own inadequacy created the quagmire where Fauci's the chief Saint Patron of Medicine when Tony's little more than a scumbag political hack, who's also a traitor to his country by developing bioweapons in a hostile communist country.

Also a huge failure.

I'm grateful to Trump for his accomplishments, but freeing Assange and freeing us all from the insane tyranny of vaxxers are not among those accomplishments.

In fact, Trump sounds just like every other vaxxer.

He just fires him. There are plenty of competent people for the job. He was the dip shit that came up with 15 days to stop the spread along with the other cunt that disappeared Birx. It's a god damn airborne virus that had been around for months and he knew it. He's a lazy piece of shit that just sits there and doles out cash to people that suck his dick. He knew what Covid was in 2019.

Not sure if you've worked with government contracts Rin, but whoever sucks your dick so to speak the best gets the job. Has zero to do with costs or ethics or even the end product. Hence how we ended up paying the Chinese to make a virus that kills a bunch of people. He's not elected and can insider trade and do whatever he wants. He likely has a net worth in the 9 figure range. He has no disclosure responsibility. Trump also could have just fired him for no reason or appointed someone else. I liked Trump, but keeping that petrified piece of shit Fauci around was a huge mistake. We're still suffering his BS.

Trump fired Fauci from handling the coronavirus matter in August of 2020. Dr. Atlas was appointed in his place.

You could say he should have completely fired him but Brandon would have still put him back where he was, just as he did.
