I think that Ukraine would become a US satellite and site for US missiles and bases if it joined NATO.

I think the US deliberately provoked Russia into invading Ukraine with the threat of Ukraine joining NATO.

If Mexico announced, backed by a 90% Yes on a Referendum, to host Sino-Russian-NORK airbases on Mexican soil, we wouldn't give it 7 years. We'd be overthrowing the government or invading in 7 days.
