Reasons:
1) War criminal Putin expected heroes welcome with garlands like other war criminal Bush. Both needs to be hanged together while Cheney pacemaker jammed with strong magnetic field.Jury needs to be from people of all walks of life.
As Ukraine resisting, He has no plan B.
2) In few weeks after Russia's total economic collapse, The NATO nations GDP will be 100x Russia.Hungary Russians will eat Putin for lunch.
3) No will for Russians to fight as they represent brutal tyrant making their lives miserable. They were tricked that once in will be dating Hot Kiev women being treated as heroes instead women seems to be spearheading resistance. Russian have better chance of getting a date by changing sides.
4) Russian supply chain has efficiency of USSR.
5) Russian army is still big metal not smart electronics.
6) Above all, Putin is not sure who is trying to assassinate him from within. See picture below.

------- SOEMBODY REALLY SCARED OF ASSASSINATION BY HIS STAFF -----------------

This is exactly true. Pics have been out of context, videos turned out to be video games. With cell phones we watched Trudeaus horses trample Canadians. Live feeds everywhere. But here, webcams look like nothing going on.

Just remember what kind of media we have:

Nobody knows what is going on other than Ukrainians that are talking to one another, and you can be CERTAIN that they are being fed propaganda as well. Our news media is COMPLETE propaganda, and I'm mystified that people here aren't starkly aware of this after 9 months of peace protests, and the January 6th insurrection.

I'm surprised to see people here fall in line and go right back to believing our news media has suddenly become reliable and trustworthy again.

There are plenty of real videos and 100s of thousands people leaving Ukraine as refugees.
It clearly shows that Russia is not able to just drive to city center and take over government.

Now exaggeration is always there, But You can put everything on bell curve and the center is much right-on-axis of what Russia expected.
Estimates are that Russia is spending 10B+ a day.. If true a month will be like 60-70% of newly calibrated Russian GDP.

While I appreciate your opinion. I’m not seeing it in real time like we do in the west or in Iraq/Afghanistan. Therefore I question…

On the Russian side, It is likely blocked by both Russia and west.
Russia doesn't want to show failure and west don't want to hurt morale of Ukrainians.

On Ukrainian side, It is huge propaganda war to lure Russian young soldiers into Harems.
28   Tenpoundbass   2022 Mar 2, 12:43pm

In a couple of videos posted by the guy in the Kevlar helmet, he drove by an open field, with about 25 perfect armillary circular craters in them. The only nagging thing about that is, this Russian invasion, is nothing like the German invasion, where tanks were roaming over the country side, coming out of the woods and open fields. All of the tanks and convoys seem to be staying on the road. All of those craters in the field were just craters, no debris in the field anywhere to be seen.

As the media was showing the puffs of smoke off in the distance and the booms, for the benefit of the cowering media in their hotel rooms, also to scare some of Kiev's citizens to flee like refugees. It was all just hay and boyah, nothing but smoke and mirrors literally.
29   Patrick   2022 Mar 2, 12:47pm

I really don't know what is going on in Ukraine.

It would take having some trusted friends or relatives there, and I don't.

My Polish relatives confirmed that there are a lot of Ukrainians fleeing to Poland, but beyond that, I just don't know.

They are fleeing to Poland for the same reason people continue to wear a mask and get booster shots.

The media is scaring the shit out of them. I'll try to find the video I saw a few days ago, and saw the do nothing craters in the open field. They were clearly done so people in the distance can fear that Putin himself is driving the lead tank to destroy everything in its path. All of the videos I've seen that has sustained civilian casualties or damage, the occupants of that village say it was the Ukraine gov bombing Russia after they fled, as Russia advanced in. Ukraine isn't really putting up a fight or any resistance, if there's really anything to resist.
31   FarmersWon   2022 Mar 2, 1:52pm

There is no doubt about propaganda from both sides, But Russian solders are dying. Ukraine claims 5000+ and Russia 500, So truth is ~3k.
https://www.npr.org/2022/03/02/1083968591/russia-ukraine-deaths-war?source=patrick.net
For the first time, the Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed a substantial number of casualties in Ukraine, announcing that 498 Russian troops have died and 1,597 more have been injured.

I think total forces are around 100k involved in operation, If half are already deployed and in Ukraine, 5k dead will be 10%.
It is only going to increase from here as they enter urban centers.

Iraq had no supporters and US had best equipment. Ukraine has NATO and Russia is dumb heavy metal army... There tanks look like a "new cook" who think dumping more condiments will make food tasty.... Just too much metal.
32   Misc   2022 Mar 2, 1:59pm

What makes you think they are going to enter urban centers?

In laying siege, they will probably use artillery to a great extent before moving in troops.

It is not Russia that will lose badly, instead it will be the Ukrainian people.

If Ukraine does not surrender, its cities will look like those in Syria.

Russia doesn't have $10B a day to spend. They need to mop this thing up.
Also they don't have rebuilding Ukrain money either.
Remember , We taxpayers paid $1T for Iraq sham rebuilding, Russian mafia will steal most of that money like in Sochi.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/augustrick/2018/02/14/lessons-from-sochi-how-south-korea-managed-keep-its-olympics-costs-so-low/
The 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics were the most expensive in history, costing an estimated $50 billion. This time around, South Korea has managed to keep the price down to $12.9 billion, which still overshot the budget proposed in their bid. Even so, how did South Korea's Olympic games cost so much less than those staged four years ago in Russia?
34   FarmersWon   2022 Mar 2, 2:12pm

Crimean takeover had 1 Russian causality. Nearby city of Kherson took them while to take over and probably still have lot of Russians and far from NATO supplies. It is going to get harder for Russians.

Yup then what did the West do? We went over there and laughed in his face and ridiculed every single thing we could find.
We did the same in Beijing 4 years earlier. But what we did in Sochi was embarrassing, it was constant petty posting on Twitter and Facebook every screw out of place in the whole town. It had been building years before that, Putin got no respect from the West and our official policy. We coddled Muslims that wiped their assholes with their fingers, and gave them more respect that we ever gave Putin and Russia. It was like the Cold war was over, and all of the sanctions were lifted but then we just treated Russia like some bitch, and shat on them at every turn with every chance.
Then when that Jive Ass Mother Fucker Obama took office, and continued the same shit. Putin thought better of it, why is the Weak ass woke snowflake West giving him shit, while they kept pushing their NGO's, NATO and creeping more into the Baltics.

Putin has already made his moves and play, it's up to Joe Biden to cash the check, Obama and Bush's failed international policy wrote. I think they have insufficient funds.

There are good reasons to insult/hang Xi(Hongkong & Xinjiang, Taiwan in near future),Bush and Putin. the fuckers started wars and killed innocent.
Obama,Clinton and Biden come second as they are very corrupt but didn't start major war but participated in global cabal to loot people for elites.
I reserve the right for Trump. It is unclear if he is good or bad guy after all +/-.

... and that's coming from the mainstream media

Ukraine should surrender to Putin's demands to avoid a humanitarian crisis.

Political leaders really don't care about the suffering of their citizens though. This war could get really long and drawn out with massive casualties like cities destroyed.
38   clambo   2022 Mar 2, 6:40pm

Misc may be correct about Putin wrecking cities in Ukraine.

So how does that accomplish his goal?

A thousand Javelin missiles make the tanks go away.

Tanks rolling down the street in the city are vulnerable, think Blackhawk Down.

Putin stepped into quicksand.

Yeah, not worth reading.

B) Ukraine's land size is tantamount to France and Germany combined. Putin within 1 month will conquer more land mass than just about anyone in the last 80 years.

The problem with dictatorship is that it is like a "egg" , Once the shell is broken the yolk is going to flow out.
In case of Putin the shell is really thin and the globalists probably already have folks to take him out.

Putin did this stupidly and criminality(or maybe he had no choice) and he will pay the price.
His days are numbered but he made life very hard for Russians and Ukrainians.. The globalists will chop them and get all the prized assets in not so near future.

Putin should instead had build rapport with his and Ukrainian people , Instead He chose high handedness and murder.
46   FarmersWon   2022 Mar 2, 9:02pm

Russia will face worse fate compared to Afghanistan.. With Russia much weaker than USSR and Ukraine mush stronger than Afghanistan.
I am not too sure if geography and proximity helps Russia.. May be it is wash as Ukraine suppliers are also nearby.
NATO will make Russia bleed in Ukraine while Finland,Georgia , Sweden, Moldova will join NATO... Unfortunately Ukraine will become sacrificial lamb for NATO.... they succeeded in baiting Russia.

NEW: The weapons Germany promised (anti-tanks and stingers) have been handed over to #Ukraine (per DPA reporting).
Berlin’s offer was only made on Saturday. Remarkable speed given it took a MONTH for the helmets to get there!

Before Putin invaded I was in the camp that this was all media hype. I did not see any gains to be made by militarily attacking the Ukraine.

Now he has Europe united against him and they are scared. That means they will have much higher defense spending and other countries will want to join NATO for the protection.

I think that Russia's nuclear deterrent will keep the West from militarily attacking Russia, but they will be isolated.

This is what the MIC wants.

The US has been wanting to restart the Cold War for 2 decades now. Well, they finally managed to do it.

Just as Generation X grew up with the CONSTANT threat of nuclear war, and the boomers did as well. It's a way to support the dollar by creating an artificial market for weaponry that can't reasonably be used.

None of this has to do with human rights, or human life.

The Cold War kept the dollar stable as the downfall of the United States was thought to be the downfall of all of Europe. It was extremely lucrative for the MIC.

That's what we are going back to. When the Cold War ended, the "war on terror" was invented in order to continue the scam.

The MIC creates conflict, because it's profitable. Above them are the central banks, and impoverishing a nation allows them to have absolute control over an economy.

No, this is not stupid advice.

The only people that will walk away from the conflict in Ukraine that are in Ukraine are the US puppets.

Zelenskyy could have prevented this war quite easily by saying that Ukraine wouldn't be a NATO nation and sign agreements to that effect, and end the conflict with the Donbass. Ukraine is going to lose anyhow. Everybody that dies in this conflict died needlessly. Zelenskyy is going to walk away with a suitcase of money once he's deposed.

The end result will be a new Cold War, which is going to tax ALL citizens in the West. This is precisely what the sociopaths in power wanted. The only people who are going to be hurt by this is anybody that isn't a puppet, and isn't in power.
