I 100% agree, at least in the short term. At some point, I offered it up as proof that most self-identifying American Christians weren't 'true Christians,' but that was somewhat tongue in cheek (in case anyone is reading things a little too literally). I believe that Christianity has been changed to conform to secular society, which is something I'm happy for.

Besides being a pain in the ass, though, Christianity presents two threats to Americans. In the short term, the religion influences politics, and the distrust of scientists among the religious is a big problem, although it has been tremendously diminished by the changes in the various churches. In the long term, Christianity represents a danger of making a comeback and pushing the west back into some dark ages. By long term, I mean as a response to some disaster or something. It's not something for an individual to worry about.

That's not to say that I don't think Islam presents it's own set of problems in the US.

The witchhunts in Massachusetts were actually fueled by teenage and young women, and it was the old dour Patriarchs who put a stop to the hysteria and remade the rules of evidence banning dreams and prophecies as grounds to start a trial. The church changed. Permanent change (temporary change for deception is cool) is prohibited in Islam.

Also, we should look at the founders of the two religions:

Jesus didn't rob, rape, or kill anyone. In fact, he let himself be killed, according to the official Christian story.

Mohammed robbed caravans, raped the women after killing their male relatives, and slaughtered whole groups after their defeat. This is official Islamic history.

So Christians who do those things are being bad Christians, while Muslims who do those things are being good Muslims.

Over the years, many have converted to Islam in the west and I would like to know why you think they would do such a thing. Examples include Jeffery Lang, Mohammad Ali, Cat Stevens, Hamza Yusuf, Lewis Arquette, etc. Etc. Also, were they worse people in their dealings after their conversion? Let not your blind hatred blind you and you see a day of regret where their is no turning back.

And let’s not forget that George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, JFK, and pretty much every president in modern history claim some form of Christianity. So it would seem that if America was ever looked up to by he world it was at least in part due to the good influence that Christians had in its foundations. And if America falls or declines, it would seem that it is that those Christian influences have faded or been replaced with lies and wokeism.
