That's why we gotta expand off the planet. I expect the Earth to get nuttier and nuttier. Go raise the Periapsis, young man.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Elon Musk’s bid to purchase Twitter came up short after 138,000 board votes were found at 2 a.m., a company spokesman confirmed Tuesday. Musk had been in talks to purchase the company for $44 billion.
“We really thought Musk was going to pull this one out,” said Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal. “The yes votes had a strong lead when I went to bed last night, but that was before we counted all the mail-in votes that one of our employees found in locker 142 at the bus terminal.”
When the final votes were tallied, the takeover bid failed by a final tally of 10 votes for, 138,000 votes against. While the final result came as a shock to most observers, Agrawal said the election was fair. “Twitter takes election integrity very seriously,” he noted. “I can confidently say this was the most secure election in American history.”
A shocked Musk took to Twitter Tuesday to express his outrage. “Those ballots…that’s a whole big scam,” Musk tweeted. “The only way I could have lost is if this was rigged! I refuse to accept the results of this vote!”
Musk later tweeted that he was planning a demonstration at Twitter headquarters on May 6 to protest the results. His account was then permanently suspended by Twitter for questioning the integrity of the election.
We're 100's of years away from being able to live comfortably off Earth. Maybe 1000's. The people that move there would mutate as well, in 1/3rd gravity. They might be 9 feet tall on average who can't even enter the gravity well of Earth. This idea of living off Earth seemed great when I was a kid, but imagine the largest structure you can imagine, and spending your entire life in that - that's what it would be like. No matter how comfortable how luxurious it was, it would be a prison in time.
They're losing their bot swarms that are programmed to make them look like they have credibility?
Is there any doubt in your mind?
I just got almost 100 retweets and likes for an offhand wiseass comment.
Also, about a dozen people followed me in the hour or so I was on there.
That hasn't happened since January 2020.
Shadowban lifted?
I didnt think about this angle. Musk has made it clear he will open source the algo, and I suspect he will also disclose the leftist bias code he will soon rip out, informing the public how bad the bias and control was. I would think he wants to enact free speech change at more than just twitter, and showing everyone how bad the leftist mania has become may spur movements to change other tech platforms too.

Extended Parler Family,
Obviously, yesterday was a momentous day in the future history of culture wars. Yesterday, what I, and others, had written off as a bid that was unlikely to succeed was given green light approval by the Board of Twitter after initially being rejected and blocked. So, what does this mean?
First, a few practical points:
This does not mean the deal is done. This simply means that the Board of Twitter has given the green light to the deal - they are recommending the deal to shareholders. A big issue will be the shareholder vote, which is yet to be completed.
Expect Twitter walkouts. You have already seen the first stage of this but watch the woke tiger fight for its life on Twitter. They will do everything they can to prevent Twitter from becoming a free speech platform.
