I think Russia, often like the US, is just getting rid of old and outdated military equipment. The Ukrainians have a 3:1 advantage in soldiers in the field there, and Russia doesn't seem to be having any real problems in my opinion and they are taking their time. From what I've heard (who knows if it's true?) is that Russia is now starving the Ukrainian army of fuel. If this drags on, it will be food next but hopefully it doesn't come to that.

Those 1000 or so Ukrainians that went underground under that steel works plant, have been sealed in. They are going to starve there, and probably resort to cannibalism before they do - that is, if they have sufficient water.

Our average principal or equity payment is $400 a month (and $400 goes to mortgage interest). We have about $160,000 balance left on the mortgage.

The same units in our HOA are selling for $290,000 to $300,000. I expect they will crash and bottom to $240,000.

The bottom of $240,000 equates to about a 4% annual appreciation in price since 2016.

I use this 4% annual appreciation rule based on what I read from Professor Robert Shiller in regards to housing returning or regressing to the mean.
