I put up with a lot of bad calls by Trump, defended him. But this is too much.

I will still vote for him in 2024 if he is the Candidate, but now I prefer DeSantis.

Trump is too old to run in 2024.

What is the problem with McCarthy?
3   Ceffer   2022 Jun 4, 10:12pm

I think Trump running in 2024 is a bit of a tease. He probably only wants to run out his legitimate term, if things somehow aright themselves (or not) and then pass the mantle, hopefully after the Republic is somehow restored (or not).

Some of the stranger Woo think that the Trump we are seeing is an avatar, too, an actor who agreed to the role. In this instance, it is to protect the 'real' Trump because he had so many assassination attempts (Melania, too) and they keep 'real Trump' in heavily guarded military locations. Of course, it is impossible to know for sure, assuming this is actually the ruse.
Circumstantially, i am always surprise at how open the public Trump seems to be golfing, appearing impromptu at events, speaking etc. because I would think they have a heavy bounty for anybody who can actually get to him and assassinate him.

You want that $35 mil for your spring training facility, Tampa Bay Rays?

Then stop funding lefty, gun-grabbing groups like Everytown.

Glad DeSantis is my governor. Could not imagine what would happen during COVID if Gillum was my governor instead.
6   AmericanKulak   2022 Jun 5, 1:00am

The ONLY way this makes sense is if Trump traded his endorsement for dumping Cheney (McCarthy did endorse her opponent) and some other RINOs in primaries.

However, the problem with Trump endorsements is that there is no penalty mechanism if a RINO welches on it, at least not for 2-6 years.

@TenPoundBass will share his opinion soon, I hope.

They don't have rocks like that on Florida Beaches.

Looks more like Hawaii.

Here's Florida:

12   RedStar   2022 Jun 21, 4:14pm

We freaking need DeSantis to run. I'm sorry for Florida but the nation really needs him to step up and take over. I sincerely hope he's building a campaign team in the background for when the time is right..
13   FortWayneAsNancyPelosiHaircut   2022 Jun 21, 4:18pm

he isnt running 2024, I'm hoping we get Trump. If he only got better at picking people who don't stab him like Cesar.

He wasn't ready for level of bullshit he got thrown into by faggot worshipping establishment.

Trump has too much baggage. He's going to alienate a lot of independents and the media will cover up any voting shenanigans yet again.

Trump is doomed to fail, IMHO.
15   pudil   2022 Jun 21, 4:36pm

Unfortunately I think Trump will run and if he doesn’t get the nomination he might go independent.

We need to elect the right people in 2022 so that we can clean up the voting shenanigans by 2024 so he has a chance.

The problem with Trump endorsements is they are worth about as much as a Rasmussen poll.
He waits until all of the polls have decided who will win, then he picks his endorsement. Then claims the biggest MAGA candidate of them all, can't beat the one that is heavily weighted by the establishment, and NGOs pouring money into that RINO candidate. Trump is far more worried about tarnishing his "King Maker" enterprise, than actually standing behind the best person that is right for the seat. He does not want to go head to head with the media to defend his pick, only to get caught with his pants down, when the dirty Dems pull up paid oppo smut, smearing his endorsement pick. It's why he stirred clear of Alabama judge Roy Moore. Rather than standing up to the blatant smear campaign lead by Gloria Albright and her criminal weaponized legal cronies.

As for Ron DeSantis running in 2024, it would totally erase him from History, it will make him nothing but a foot note in Biden's first four years.
Charlie Christ or Andrew Gullium would end up being the Governor.(There would be a total shit storm Democrat primary for that seat make no mistake.) but there wouldn't be anyone on the right that could win and keep his seat. There's no one that will carry on his legacy even if they did. We could end up with a Sislac or some other RINO creep that loves lockdowns and mandates and keeping the Crackers in line.

In the meantime, DeSantis would run in 2024 to be President, and by all accounts 85% of every breathing human being on the planet would pick him, and still the 2024 election belongs to the mail in ballots, never ending Covid fear pandering, and blind partial judges. Not even Trump stands a chance.

That's why America's only chance at this point is for States to claw back authority given to the Federal Government or the Federal Government has overreached.
We need Ron DeSantis to give a Master Class to the other Republican Governors after 2024, on how to deal with Commies that have hijacked the Federal Government.

@TenPoundBass for President in 2024!
18   Ceffer   2022 Jun 21, 5:41pm

All you Florida people are so greedy for power.
21   rocketjoe79   2022 Jun 28, 12:24pm

Voting "shenanigans" indeed, though I prefer to call stuffing ballot boxes et al., sedition.

I was thinking "treason" but as I learned, treason is the only crime mentioned in the constitution, and would not apply here:

Who would legitimately get the nomination over Trump?

I'm still in the cynical party but I will vote for the one who is for American principles of liberty. I would vote for the candidate who promises to make America great, root out corruption, and keep us out of foreign entanglements.

An unbeatable dream team would be Trump for president and Gabbard for vice.

More likely we will get some establishment types from both sides that will underwhelm us with specifics while overwhelming us with platitudes.

De Santis is using woke strategy against them, which is beautiful. Laws are vague so bureaucrats are forced to err on side of caution always...wait a year and FL bureaucrats will be snuffing out all wokeness since the only thing they care is their oversized pay

https://www.ntd.com/desantiss-team-responds-to-newsom-ad-saying-florida-residents-should-move-to-california_803740.html

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s office has responded to California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s advertisements encouraging residents of the Sunshine State to move to the Golden State.

“The people of Florida pay no mind to the pathetic smear campaigns from the Democrats and their allies in the corporate media,” DeSantis spokesman Dave Abrams told The Daily Wire. “We’re too busy enjoying the freedom Gov. Ron DeSantis has created in the Sunshine State.” ...

DeSantis has garnered support from several high-profile individuals, namely because of his stance against COVID-19-related restrictions and mandatory vaccines during the pandemic.

Last month, podcaster Joe Rogan suggested that if DeSantis runs for president, he would back the Florida governor. Billionaire Elon Musk also wrote on Twitter that he would support a DeSantis bid.

“Ron DeSantis would work as a good president,” Rogan said in response to a recent question on his podcast. “What he has done for Florida has been admirable.”

Under our new law, never again will Florida families be denied the right to visit a loved one in the hospital.

This is now the way of the land.

I'm in the Florida panhandle and I didn't see the Newsom ads.

I heard that the ads were only played in Miami.

Newsom could not get even kool aid drinking Democrats to move from Florida to California.

Trump would only run if he thinks he can win. If he goes independent, he surely won't win. In addition the the usual problems of getting on the ballots of the states likely to vote for him (25 to 30 states) there will be any number of virtue-signaling state workers putting up additional roadblocks to that process. It's not like he'll be able to hijack the Green Party to get a jump start. He'll also wind up splitting the Republican vote, virtually guaranteeing a Democratic victory; that'll make him unpopular with 100% of the voters that actually like him.
37   steverbeaver   2022 Jul 14, 12:26am

I have doubts about DeSantis. Yes, he is a logical choice... but so was Trump (alternatives considered). All I'm saying is: should he get elected I won't be surprised if his asshole has a greater gravitational pull for Jew cum, greater repulsion for actual MAGA than Trump. Betrayal follows the pattern (((who do they surround themselves with)))... but what "alternative" is there? BTW I am more than happy for DeSantis to stay governor of Florida.

Didn't Kamila get 1% in the Democrat primary?

For the life of me, I don't get why Libtards think Newsom can run on a national ticket. Or any other California politician.

Wait: Kamala

But she was tied to the ticket no matter how few votes she got.

No one knows him outside of CA. I could ask 10 of my friends here in IL who is the governor of CA and 10 of them wouldn't know. The only reason I do is because of this site mostly.

Occasionally a news story gets me to remember a governors name. But hell, I don't even know the Wisconsin governor or Indiana right now and they're my neighbors.

But that's basically why they think he could run. From what I've heard here he's a chump, but most of America has no clue about Newsom. Fact is he's a pretty boy that can talk. That's better than what we have now. I'd never vote for him though on a national level knowing what I've heard here and else where though. He's a Mitt Romney type. Looks good but has no soul.

Fact is POTUS is generally decided by women and the looks of the person running. Nothing to do with policy or leadership. I can promise you if you polled women voters they would have thought Biden was more attractive. Many don't/didn't think the creepy petting shit was bad, but actually good. He like kids and is kind to them. Whether the election was fixed or not, I'd guess he got more women voters than Trump.
