My friends younger sister and her friend were both on the varsity basketball team at the high school we went to. From age 18-23 played with them frequently. I was slow, not tall, not athletic. But the girls were completely outclassed. This is a bunch of boys who mostly weren’t even good enough to bother trying out for the boys basketball teams. And I didn’t use my biggest physical asset against them…strength and low center of gravity. I didn’t want to hurt them.

A few years later I reconnected with a guy who went to school for engineering at a major LA area college. He had been on the jv team but did not make the varsity basketball team in high school. Intelligent, athletic, modest and soft spoken. Maybe 6’2 and not physically imposing. The girls basketball team at the college he went to is Division I and has consistently been ranked in the NCAA top 25…and has been for decades. He played pick up games with them frequently. He, in his words, absolutely crushed them. He said they were literally no competition.

The fat chick with the beard is FOS gaslighting away. Women can’t compete with men in sports. End of story. Stating otherwise is to perpetuate a viscious lie.
