My guess is wokers changed the definition to include aversion, so they could weaponize it. Redefining things seems to be a popular woker tactic, as it conveniently changes the meaning of written laws, rules, and procedures to their benefit.

I think most people think the definition of phobia is "extreme fear of something, usually irrational.", or at least that's what I always thought it meant. I thought the same thing as you - I dont have a phobia of gays, I just think they're nasty / annoying / unpleasant to be around when they act flamboyant and advertise their gayness with the typical gay behavioral and vocal signaling tactics etc...

But we already knew wokeness was based on dishonesty and hyperbolicness.

As Hircus states, it is solely to weaponize the matter as a political tool. California would have had civil unions in the late 90’s if not for politically lobbying by the left against it.

But the political stance is you are either for or against. There is no room in their minds for indifference.

As I stated in another thread, and now with this thread, I agree with the OP. I'm not afraid of fags, so I'm not "homophobic.". Rather, I'm annoyed by flaming fags, and I definitely want to kill fags who want to molest/turn my children in to the next generation of fags. I self-identify as an anti-homosexual, largely because I have young children. When I get older maybe I'll become indifferent to homosexuals, unless they will be coming after my grandkids.
