It really is sad how feminism destroys women's lives.

Upon opening Louise Perry’s new book, The Case Against the Sexual Revolution: A New Guide to Sex in the 21st Century, I’m moved to tears by the dedication:

“For the women who learned it the hard way”

That whole article lacks the necessary context:

She was 100% OK with the pump and dump by any Alpha Male she could get her hands on. She rode the Alpha Male cock carousel as long as she could, then settled down with beta bux (probably giving him starfish sex because she's so "ashamed" of her past slut life).

She was too obsessed about being dominated, most likely due to being abused as a fucktoy. She had no intrinsic self-respect. Her self-image was predicated on her ability to "transcend" the pigging-out of her body by Chad Thundercock to be ready for a railing by Tyrone. She always hoped she'd be considered a Stacy by her latest Chad, but ultimately, she failed the cut.

Mainstream white women are basket cases, that would in earlier times (a la Rose Kennedy) be lobotomized.

Better a slut than a drunk; I see so many of them lately.

Is there a material difference? They get drunk to unleash their inner slut.

My female friend was telling me about her younger hotter sister.
Evidently she liked getting picked up at bars/clubs (whatever they're called these days) on the weekends.
I was surprised because her sister is really model hot and 24.
"Your sister is a wild pig! I would not have guessed that."
She evidently met a guy she likes and moved to Miami.
Who knows what is next for her?

So I’ve written over the years that I had a late stage colon cancer when I was in my 30’s. As part of my treatment, I had surgery and a colostomy bag for about a year.

I did a lot of research and came across a posting from a woman in her mid 20’s who had colon cancer and part of her treatment would be a permanent colostomy bag due to where the tumor was located. The staging was early and even back then, her 5 year survival rate was 85%(id guess it’s over 95% currently).

She actually asked if she could just do chemo and no surgery because she was so distressed that she couldn’t go easily hook up with random dudes anymore. I thought that was one of the crazier things I’d ever heard.

You beat late stage colon cancer? How long ago was that?
8   pudil   2022 Sep 23, 10:33am

She still doesn’t have her head wrapped around it. Her recommendations to her daughter were in actionable gobledegook excuses that boil down to, have sex all you want, just make sure he respects you.

Sure, I guess. But if you find yourself encountering lots of people that don’t respect you maybe you should look into that.

The first comment to the article was much better and wiser. Sex is about creating life, which is at the end of the day the point of it all. People who spend all their energy trying to avoid this fact will ultimately be disappointed because they aren’t going to achieve their purpose.
9   Ceffer   2022 Sep 23, 10:59am

I think the idea that men's status is enhanced by promiscuity is baloney. It's locker room stuff, but men don't automatically respect other men that dip and run. If that were the case, the ghetto rats would have the highest admiration rate of all men instead of being rated as trash. Men also don't like to be around other men who are always hitting on everything that moves, or even their own women and relatives. Sex addiction is not a bountiful compulsion for either sex.

Sleeping around will happen for both sexes, but both sexes are rated down to the extent that they do it irresponsibly and without concern to the safety and welfare of their partners.

Diagnosed in 2010. It was 3c with multiple poor prognosticating factors. Stage 3c at the time was around 45% 5 year survival rate. Mine was more in the 25% range.

Glad you made it out alive! Part of the reason I'm moving back to TX (instead of maybe FL) is my dad has ulcerative colitis. We think it's from the chemo he took about 4 years ago that so far has allowed him to beat Leukemia. We think he got the leukemia from the rheumatoid arthritis meds the docs threw at him. I don't recall the name.

He's 80 going on 81 though. If he goes my mom is dedicatedly helpless so.... He keeps getting stays in the hospital because of it. Last thanksgiving morning for instance and the following 5 days.

Nobody in the health care industry will speak to him about diet. *I will be pushing that harder soon now that I'll be closer.

He does not have rheumatoid arthritis or any arthritis to speak of for that matter. Whatever it was disappeared.

This shit hits home for me. I'm obviously not going to fuck my SIL. She can't get a guy for multiple reasons and I'm not my nephews father. The major issue is having a kid, he's black and she can't take care of him. So she can't get white guys and keeps going black which means a dead end 90% of the time. This is reality.

It's usually 1-2 decisions in your life at 15-20 that are gonna make or break you. It's not college or any of that shit. There are more decisions of course but I'm talking the major ones. My SIL made a bad one at 15 with another girl that didn't have a drivers license. Head on collision, snapped femur, brain damage and no seatbelt. Airlifted from the scene. That one decision changed her life. Hell it changed my life.

9 out of 10 of you would give her a ride. 0 of 10 would ever commit to her. She's hot and when not stoned or drunk you'd actually like her. Desperate men make bad partners with a messed up chick. Sorry this was a topic last night at an event. Multiple guys come up to me and ask about her. I say run, don't jog or walk. Run.

Book is coming. Not sure I'll post it here. Hoping to get it done over the winter. Gonna have to use names of people, but might change them. Ghost writing. Just have to find my Jews to get it sold. Mostly laid out the chapters. Once that's done it's keyboard burnout time.

Took a few years but he's doing a lot better. I realize there is no comparison other than maybe the Leukemia. Even then though I think I'd rather have a combo of those two than what you went through.

You cock ;) I know your type. I get along with older guys (not sexually) and you at least can play music. So I get the sarcasm loaded in that one. That was a good one though. You won the forum day.

Growing up all of my close best friends were all at least 10 years older than me.
I just didn't connect with zipper pants, and spinning on your head. The GenX gets credit for being self sufficient no fuss no muss generation.
But many of us were the prototype for millennials and all of the culture rot that is now in younger generations.
The downside is, as I get older and all of my older friends are either too sick or less out going and some are just dead now.
So at 57 I find my circle of life long friends dwindling. I am wishing that I had a more diverse pool of friends of varying ages.
Sure I know a lot of people, and countless acquaintances. But the friends you could call to do you a solid, are just too damn old to help you move or any physical activities where you need a mate. Acquaintances, aren't down with that.

My brother in law doesn't like having friends. "They call to ask you to help move and stuff"
20   Tenpoundbass   2024 Sep 22, 9:30am

Younger generations, don't have friendships like people from Gen-X and before. Sure there's no shortage of people that will come out and do something stupid, like taking over an intersection to do burnouts and other group stupidity. But as soon as the shit hits the fan everyone is like "uh good luck with that...".
No one will be there bail him out, or help repair any damage. They don't help each other do things, because they all believe there's an App for that. They get their food, housing, ride and everything from an app. They don't need anyone but themselves. "Here I'll help you move, I'm texting you Good Greek Moving and Stroage, number..."

I think people from earlier generations are standby friends - that doesn't mean that they're not good friends. Case in point - my friend suffered a mentally debilitating disease. I knew him from when I was younger, so I knew this was a real thing with him. Everyone else deserted him, his job, even his wife, but I helped him as much as I could, and, most importantly, I believed him.

Now, he's recovered about 75% and he's still struggling with his disease, but making 3X as much as me. He remembers those who were there for him in the clutch, and some expressions of his gratitude nowadays I don't feel I deserve, but I accept it because as I get older, I realize that when you're younger, you might almost carelessly plant a seed that grows into an orchard.

As I get older, I am humbled by the power of acts of simple kindness and the bounty that they yield later in life. It's hard for me, but I have to remember to plant these seeds of kindness as much as I am able.

This is kinda way off topic but is what it is.

Men have to have male friends. It’s part of what makes us or breaks us.

My dad is in his 80’s and still gets together once a month with his cousin of the same age. They were best friends in grade school and despite being distant for a lot of years, they have lived less than a mile apart for the past 20+ years and make an effort. He also gets together with a small group that have breakfast and go target shooting on a regular basis.

Me, I have two really close friends that I’ve been friends with since we were 12. I still hang out with both and their families on a frequent basis. One, we still go to see bands we like..have seen scorpions and Iron Maiden together the past couple years.

I actually see Pat.net as an outlet of sorts in this regard. Basically able to vent to other men in a way that can’t be done at work or other social settings.

This is why I share my Montana buddies on here. I get out there twice a year and they visit their parents back in IL and WI twice a year. They're my life long buddies and bandmates. We'd fight musically but we have a life long bond.

I'm a child at heart. Play ping pong once a week with about 10-12 guys. Try to golf 2-3 times a month. Hang out with neighbor friends 1-2 times per week.

I'm living my best life. Not perfect, but close. I don't need a billion dollars and the stress. I'll enjoy my upper class life and have fun. Hit the peak I think. Gonna enjoy the fuck out of it on the ride down. And no, that isn't intended to sound bad. No chance I'm hitting 90 for sure. I'll enjoy it while I can. Way I figure it, it's half way over.

About to drop $5k into a SUV with 236k miles on it so I can drive it through fields like a fucking hill billy. Side by sides are $20-30k here. Just drove through a field and realized that it was mostly dangerous with the condition of the car. Yes this was intentional. Yes I knew the owner of the land. Was I buzzed, yes. Safest driving record on patnet, most likely?
