Agree. If you don't eat cholesterol your liver will simply make about 18 eggs worth of it per day. You need it. "Light fluffy" ldl is used for transport and when oxidized turns into the crunched up form, which is shuttled back to the liver and regenerated.
If I understand correctly statins block the light fluffy form.
It's rare but there are some people with a genetic mutation who do have super high dangerous levels of cholesterol but most people do not.
Pastured organic chicken eggs are one of the healthiest things you can eat. I've read that there is no other food that is converted to body tissue so efficiently. They have everything you need except Calcium - which the birds absorb from the shell as they grow.

Yes indeed. If you can afford it, pasture-raised eggs are the best, because they have much less omega-6 fatty acids (which promote inflammation and are a mild estrogen mimic). Eggs are wonderful. The NIH/FDA/CDC already admitted a few years ago that dietary cholesterol intake has no significant correlation with serum (blood) cholesterol levels.
Until recently, eggs were the cheapest source of high-quality protein. Now that they're 200% more expensive, I'd split the difference between 100% grass-fed ground beef and high omega-3 eggs.
My doctor said once people are on medications like high blood pressure or cholesterol, they’re on it for life.
avoid drinking Coca-Cola
i remember the 80s when they were like "OMG, avoid Eggs! No Bacon. Eat Oatmeal, then Spaghetti, then a big bowl of veggies with Macaroni" Pritikin Death Diet.
And margarine! It's soooo good for you! Unlike that horrible butter that'll kill you outright!!!
And don't buy olive oil from Italy, more likely to be canola.

I like my EVOO robust flavored.
That's a surprise, since Euros take their food so seriously. I would have thought false olive oil in Italy would be a punishable offense.

I don't think they produce false olive oil, but whenever big conglomerates and international exporters get involved, they will find ways to reduce quality and increase profit, no matter which country.
