I'm also surprised that the Catholic Church lets him keep talking. The pope seems to be just another puppet of homo-globo incorporated, even to the point of putting up the sodomy/pedo flag in the Vatican, but Vigano is not like that at all.

You might enjoy reading the Uplift series by David Brin. The concept is that all species has been brought to sentience by other species across the galaxy, but humanity, they're the weirdos. Nobody knows who uplifted them..

I cannot find any stories about a rainbow flag being displayed by the Pope / Vatican. The only mention I could find was that the US embassy at the Vatican was displaying one.
