If there was ever an organization desperately in need of defunding, it's the FBI.

They have become a tool of state oppression of citizens, like the old East German Stasi. They actively incite crime to get people to commit it in order to then "catch" them and justify their budget.

But for BLM, they studiously look the other way and never prosecute...

The best way we can defend ourselves is to cut off their funding. We need to make a national movement out of this.

Local police deserve our funding and support, but the FBI deserves defunding and hard prison time for its upper management.

‘Twitter Files’ Make it Clear: We Must Abolish the FBI
written by ron paul
monday december 19, 2022

As we learn more and more from the “Twitter Files,” it is becoming all too obvious that Federal agencies such as the FBI viewed the First Amendment of our Constitution as an annoyance and an impediment. In Friday’s release from the pre-Musk era, journalist Matt Taibbi makes an astute observation: Twitter was essentially an FBI subsidiary.

The FBI, we now know, was obsessed with Twitter. We learned that agents sent Twitter Trust and Safety chief Yoel Roth some 150 emails between 2020 and 2022. Those emails regularly featured demands from US government officials for the “private” social media company to censor comments and ban commenters they did not like.

The Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF), a US government entity that included the FBI as well as other US intelligence agencies expressly forbidden from domestic activities, numbered 80 agents engaged regularly in telling Twitter which Tweets to censor and which accounts to ban. The Department of Homeland Security brought in outside government contractors and (government-funded) non-governmental organizations to separately pressure Twitter to suppress speech the US government did not like.

US Federal government agencies literally handed Twitter lists of Americans it wanted to see silenced, and Twitter complied. Let that sink in.

This should be a massive scandal and likely it would have been had it occurred under a Trump Administration. Indeed, Congress would be gearing up for Impeachment 3.0 if Trump-allied officials had engaged in such egregious behavior. But since these US government employees were by-and-large acting to suppress pro-Trump sentiment, all we hear are crickets.

What is interesting about these Twitter revelations is how obsessed the FBI and its government partners were with satire and humor. Even minor Twitter accounts with small numbers of followers were constantly flagged by the Feds for censorship and deletion. But knowledge of history helps us understand this obsession: in Soviet times the population was always engaged in joking about the ineptitude, corruption, and idiocy of the political class. Underground publications known as samizdat were rich with satire, humor, and ridicule.

Tyrants hate humor and cannot withstand satire. That is clearly why the FBI (and CIA) was determined to see a heavy hand raised against any American poking fun at the deep state.

There is good news in all of this, however. As Constitutional Law Professor Jonathan Turley wrote over the weekend, a new Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll found that even though the mainstream media has ignored the “Twitter files,” Americans have not. Nearly two-thirds of respondents believe that Twitter was involved in politically-motivated censorship in advance of the 2020 election. Some 70 percent of those polled believe Congress must take action against this corporate/state censorship.

As Professor Turley points out, although the First Amendment only applies to the US government, “it does apply to agents or surrogates of the government. Twitter now admits that such a relationship existed between its former officials and the government.”

So now we have proof that the FBI (along with US intelligence agencies and the Department of Homeland Security) have been acting through “private” social media companies to manipulate what Americans are allowed to say when they communicate with each other.

Is there anything more un-American than that? Personally, I find it sickening.

We do not need the FBI and CIA and other federal agencies viewing us as the enemy and attacking our Constitution. End the Fed…and End the Federal Bureau of Investigation!

: The FBI deliberately interfered not one, but two separate presidential elections... there have got to be repercussions for that.

We're going to have to have a conversation about the future of the FBI and what it's doing in our democracy.

The FBI is a U.S. version of the Russian “State Police”; and the FBI is deployed -almost exclusively- to attack domestic enemies of those who control government, while they protect the interests of the U.S. Fourth Branch of Government. That is the clear and accurate domestic prism to contextualize their perceived mission: “domestic violent extremists pose the greatest threat” to their objective.

Put another way, “We The People”, who fight against government abuse and usurpation, are the FBI’s actual and literal enemy.

Let me be very clear with another brutally obvious example. Antifa could not exist as an organization; capable to organize and carry out violent attacks against their targets; without the full support of the FBI. If the FBI wanted to arrest members of Antifa, who are actually conducting violence, they could do it easily – with little effort.

It is the absence of any action by the FBI toward Antifa, that tells us the FBI is enabling that violent extremist behavior to continue. Once you accept that transparent point of truth; then, you realize the FBI definition of domestic violent extremism is something else entirely.

The FBI is no longer a law enforcement or investigative division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The FBI has evolved into a political weapon of a larger intelligence apparatus that is now focused almost entirely on self-preservation, even if that means destroying civil society in the United States.

Anyone who continues to push the fraudulent “honorable FBI rank and file talking point”, is, at this point in history, willfully and purposefully operating to deceive the American people on behalf of government interests who are intent on control. It is not a difference of opinion any longer. It is a matter of just accepting what is staring us directly in the face.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has lost the confidence of half the nation, with even more now calling for an investigation into allegations the agency teamed with liberals to police top social media sites in order to benefit Democrats and President Joe Biden.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, 63% want the new Congress to investigate reports of censorship by the FBI of Twitter and Facebook. An equal amount believe that it happened.

The finding in the new survey, sponsored by Miranda Devine, author of the book Laptop from Hell which deals with first son Hunter Biden’s scandal-laden computer, followed a week of revelations that the government convinced Twitter to censor posts about Biden and his critics.

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, who is set to take over as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, voiced “serious concerns about how and why tech companies suppress, silence, or reduce the reach of certain political speech and speakers.”

The survey analysis said, “Majorities of every political category — 52% of Democrats, 75% of Republicans, and 63% of unaffiliated voters — believe Congress should investigate whether the FBI was involved in censoring information on social media sites.”

SHOULD be, but our government won't do it.

I'm pretty certain that nearly everybody in congress can be blackmailed, and that's the only reason they were allowed to get into government.

Look at Nancy Pelosi, or Dan Crenshaw, for example - they could be put away for decades for insider trading. There's an agreement that they can violate the law, even flagrantly, provided they play ball. It's not really the FIB that is the problem, it's the DOJ that declines to prosecute.

FBI Agent to Get Probation on Thursday for Destroying Evidence in Arkansas Political Trial

Tomorrow, Thursday, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, former FBI Agent Robert Cessario will finalize a plea agreement to a federal felony with his former employer who is now prosecuting him, the Department of Justice, in which he will receive an incredibly lenient one year of probation for destroying evidence in a political trial involving former pro-Trump Arkansas State Senator Jon Woods. ...

The conviction was obtained using undercover microphones, many files of which were never turned over to the defense. When the defense asked for them, the Court ordered them produced. Which is when FBI Agent Cessario destroyed them, twice! When they looked on the computer that had the files before Cessario, it, too, was ‘wiped by accident.’ And when the original recordings were sought from the recording devices, they disappeared. ...

The United States House of Representatives yesterday approved the creation of a Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. The Subcommittee is modeled on the Church Committee in 1975, which investigated abuses of power by the FBI, CIA, and other federal agencies. As background for understanding the House investigation, we created a video (above) describing the pattern of troubling behavior by the FBI in relation to the Hunter Biden laptop and Twitter executives.

Pretty sure this is all just show again, and the criminals at the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc, will face no personal consequences of their crimes at all.

The FBI investigated an American nonprofit at the behest of the Russian government with no charges of criminal wrongdoing, according to FBI documents reviewed by The Washington Times, which revealed a decades-old covert investigation.

It has been more than 18 years since the Russian inquiry and subsequent FBI investigation into the MacArthur Foundation. FBI documentation shows that America’s top investigative agency followed instructions from Russia’s Interior Ministry (MVD).

Patrick Eddington, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute who first obtained the records in a lawsuit against the bureau over access to government records, called the FBI investigation “completely insane.”

“The FBI should never, if ever, have been in the business of being an errand boy for homeland security or law enforcement organizations of a hostile foreign power without a clearly defined and stated criminal record,” Mr. Eddington said.
...

“The FBI Chicago Division conducted an investigation into the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Chicago, IL, USA in response to the MVD’s request for assistance,” according to an FBI record obtained for the Cato Institute has been published.

Mr. Eddington asked if the Russians were the only country that had asked or encouraged the FBI to investigate Americans.

The FBI declined to answer questions about its MacArthur Foundation investigation and whether it investigates other Americans without allegations of wrongdoing at the direction of foreign governments.

The FBI’s willingness to investigate Americans without providing a clear explanation for its actions is not limited to its investigation of the MacArthur Foundation. The FBI investigated the conservative group Concerned Women for America in 2016, found nothing to investigate, and told Senator Chuck Grassley, an Iowa Republican, in December 2021 that it did not need to explain its actions.

More information about the federal government’s actions could come to light after control of the House of Representatives passes to Republicans when the new Congress meets in January. The incoming majority has put the FBI in its investigative crosshairs, and Rep. Michael Turner, an Ohio Republican who will chair the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said he will open an investigation into alleged use of intelligence by the Biden initiate government against Americans.

The Russian embassy in Washington did not respond to a request for comment on this story.

FBI Director Wray: "The level of collaboration between the private sector and the government, especially the FBI, has made significant strides."

This is not good.

In fact, this is the LITERAL DEFINITION of fascism.
The government works hand-in-hand with private companies to enforce government rules. The nationalization of private industry.

We thought that Elon Musk's Twitter files were a big revelation, but they don't care. Chris Wray literally went to Davos to BRAG about his work in collaborating with private organizations like Facebook, Twitter, etc. in order to enforce unconstitutional rules.

NEW YORK, Jan 23 (Reuters) - A former top FBI official was arrested over the weekend on accusations he worked for sanctioned Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, prosecutors said on Monday.

Charles McGonigal, who led the agency's counterintelligence division in New York before retiring in 2018, faces four counts including sanctions violations and money laundering.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan say McGonigal, 54, received concealed payments from Deripaska, who was sanctioned in 2018, in exchange for investigating a rival oligarch in 2021. He is also charged with unsuccessfully pushing in 2019 for the lifting of the sanctions on Deripaska.

On Saturday afternoon, former FBI agent Charles McGonigal, who was head of counterintelligence in the New York Field Office and a part of the investigation into supposed ties between Trump and Russia, was arrested over his alleged ties to Russia.

CBS reports that McGonigal was arrested over "his ties to Oleg Deripaska, a Russian billionaire who has been sanctioned by the United States and criminally charged last year with violating those sanctions." ...

54-year-old McGonigal, who retired in 2018, was arrested at JFK airport after arriving in the US from Sri Lanka.

McGoniga "is charged with violating US sanctions by trying to get Deripaska off the sanctions list," reports CBS.

According to the DOJ, in 2021 McGonigal and Shestakov agreed to investigate a Russian rival of Deripaska and allegedly received payments for their efforts. They are accused of forging signatures and receiving their funds from Deripaska through shell companies.
