There's a lot of speculation here. Sources indicate there have been problems for some time. They recently re-instated the CFO and someone else O'Keefe had been instrumental in firing.

Simplest explanation here is he's someone who's difficult to work with, and may not best suited to the role her currently occupy's in the company. The fact that no one is officially saying anything tells me it's just an internal company matter.

The sort of journalism I demand at this point, is a synopsis of a story, and maybe some conclusions, and ALL their source data, so I can check.

At this point, if somebody says something like "The Mueller Report said X", my immediate response is "what page and what paragraph? Provide a quote", and if they can't or won't do that, I just conclude I'm talking to either a propagandist, or somebody that has been fooled by a propagandist.

It's not about preaching to the choir.

I've come to my conclusions 2 years ago, but there's few people like me that is going to go through a bunch of scientific papers, find out who Kerry Mullis is, look up statistics, confirm the claims are correct, record and save "news" stories so you can see what they were (supposedly) wrong about, etc.

If I attempt to introduce my thinking and why I think what I do to most people in my peer group, and I'm an electrical engineer in Silly Con Valley, I'm a conspiracy nut. I can't even reach the (supposedly) educated and smart people. They won't spend an hour learning, much less a day or a week, which I have. Veritas is needed to reach the busy so-called "common man" who SUSPECTS but isn't certain.

I can more easily convince a car mechanic about the situation, than an engineer. It's not that fellow engineers are dumb, because they aren't, they are arrogant, and will rarely admit error. They don't believe they can be victims of disinformation or propaganda. Their ego can't handle it. It's a SEVERE character fault of us "edumacated people". It's a very severe one. Until I learned to dispense with the idea that being wrong made me stupid, it kept me in intellectual infantilism.

Being wrong does NOT make you stupid, it just makes you wrong. When you are fed incorrect data, you come to incorrect conclusions and even if you're a genius this will happen to you.

Still sounds like a disagreement between CEO and board, not an uncommon occurrence. Could there have been outside influence due to the PV videos showing increasingly sensitive and alarming materials? To know for sure I'd be interested in any recent changes in wealth among the board, or the other executives who helped oust O'Keefe.

Now, according to the Post Millennial, yesterday the scrappy anti-establishment media group fired most of its operations staff, about 20 people, leaving basically a skeleton crew. The news momentarily appeared on Project Veritas’ official, blue-checked Twitter account:




Ironically, the story hasn’t yet been confirmed by pro-transparency Project Veritas, and normally I would wait a day or two to see what shakes out. But it looks like the predicted chickens of failure are finally nesting right in the bankrupt roosts where we thought they’d be.
