Somebody that calls me a name, if I don't respect them or their opinion, how can I be insulted by it? Not entirely true. I prefer a good pair of jeans for motorcycle riding -- provides nearly as much protection from road-rash as leather, and is a lot more comfortable, cooler and easier to maintain than leather riding gear.

Well, there are exceptions.

I've not worn jeans since I was a kid and I admit they provide protection. I wouldn't wear shorts or slacks doing blue collar jobs and don't get me wrong, I enormously respect blue collar workers and farmers. They are essential in our society, I am not.
