Bernie Sanders Doubled His Income Last Year Thanks to Profits From Book "It's OK to Be Angry About Capitalism"

The latest round of financial disclosure forms from the Vermont senator, first reported by Business Insider and obtained by Fox News Digital, show $170,000 in royalties last year from Penguin Random House for his book "It's OK to Be Angry About Capitalism."

The royalty amount is only slightly less than the $174,000 salary that Sanders made last year serving Vermont in the U.S. Senate.

Sanders earned a $170,000 royalty from Random House in 2020 as well, which amounts to $340,000 in book royalties.

Book royalties to a politician are a way to launder bribes.

He should be angry if that's all he got for getting the shaft from the DNC during the primaries.

He had to put up with threats to his wife from the Deep State as well (her fishy business with expanding a college that didn't work out).

He caved and supported Biden, and did so at a super cheap price.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sanders was asked Sunday whether Harris “abandoned her progressive ideals” simply to get elected.

Sanders said he believed it was a political calculation.

“No, I don’t think she’s abandoning her ideals,” he told anchor Kristen Welker.

“I think she’s trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election.”

Trump mocked Harris over this exchange.

“Bernie Sanders just said that Kamala only changed her Marxist policy positions for the Election — She’ll change back very quickly!” Trump wrote on Truth Social Monday.
