My wife wanted to watch an episode of Law & Order SUV from the recent season. Haven't watched network TV, but it is amazing how they avoid anything topical about what is happening to the country or the city. Show did a 'smash 'n grab' by a group in a Gucci store, but pointedly, it was both black and white (Uh Huh!).

It's entirely sanitized, with plots avoiding anything related to NY City's deterioration. They try to make it look like a clean, well organized urban paradise like the olden days. All Covid crap is gone.

The ads are the usual Netflix kaleidoscope canting and ranting in hypomanic glees over consumer products, while living the 20 million dollar and up lifestyle. I forgot how many Pharma ads there are, and some don't even tell you what the 'medicines' are for, just the 'end users' flitting about in delightful, wholesome, affluent scenarios.
