The "let them duke it out" / "let them slaughter" stance is unrealistic:

1. Israelis would be wiped out if we stop all munition/ammunition shipment and stop foreign aid to both Israel and neighboring countries keeping them away from joining the fight. It doesn't matter how advanced Israel's anti-missile defense systems are when they don't produce enough anti-missile missiles on their own; nor can they afford to exchange expensive precision anti-missiles missiles against cheap dumb flying objects.

2. When the fighting intensifies/escalates there, and the US has to send more billions of aid to Israel to keep Israelis alive, some of the money will be diverted to politicians and shift the political landscape here due to campaign contributions. It already has in the past 70+ years.

3. Almost all of the most massive/deadly wars in the eastern hemisphere in the past 500 years were due to the bankster human-farming process, mass killing bank account holders in one country after another. What they teach in high school economics class about international trade optimizing unevenly distributed mineral resources and removing "dead loss" neglects to mention the impact of global money flow: when factory-owners, dictators and middle-class in third-world human farms send their money to western money center banks for what they think is safe-keeping, the money flow artificially depresses their local currencies and artificially lowers the price of their exports. That's why we have the current phenomenon of German and Japanese cars being sold in the US at prices lower than their prices back in Germany and Japan, Chinese-made electronics being sold in the US at prices lower than their prices in China, Brazil-made clothing/shoes being sold in the US at prices lower than in Brazil. These are large countries; the "dumping"-like negative implied transportation cost price differential is even greater for goods made in smaller countries. How can American workers and factories compete in this kind of environment? My favorite is when "I have no dog in this fight" but his posts and enthusiasm for the anti-Israel side belie that.

When you correct him with links, he half-acknowledges it with an "I don't care" when he clearly does, then a short time later he's back making the original assertion you already proved factual information to refute.

WookieMan, I can easily sympathize with your expressed frustration on the subject. I have been saying for a long time now, many of those critical of Zionist harsh policies on the biological descendants of biblical Jews who never left the land are the ones who will be equally sympathetic of Israeli/Jewish plight when the shoe is on the other foot when the US as a declining empire can no longer sustain the state of Israel, whereas some of the most ardent voices in support of harsh Zionist actions against "Palestinians" may well turn out to be bankster agents who want Jewish bank account holders living in that region dead so the victims can not withdraw money from the banks.

We living in the western hemisphere do have two vested interests in the eastern hemisphere:

1. Because the landmass and human population in the eastern hemisphere far out-number the western hemisphere, we can not allow eastern hemisphere to consolidate into one political entity. It's similar to Britain playing the balance of power to European continent between 1100-1950 or so, lest it becomes unified like historical China or historical Japan (under Bakufu regime), or to a somewhat lesser degree the US after suppressing states' rights to secede thereby turning into a unified empire instead of a coalition of willing states. Geographically vast unified political entities tend to become more and more tyrannical as well as expansionistic (because its internal politics over-ride internal market, so have to loot not only its citizens/subjects but also loot externally).

2. Can't allow human-farming operations to perfect their art / practices in the eastern hemisphere to apply the same expertise and team-work resources to farm humans in the western hemisphere. The difference between Judaism vs. Islam is not much more than that existed between Protestants vs. Catholics. Historically both England and France used persecutions of Catholics and Huguenots as methods of farming human beings and harvesting human cattle by mass murdering them through made-up religious conflicts; in central Europe, that turn into the 30-Years War slaughtering millions of civilians, the most devastating war in Europe before WWI/WWII.
