I saw the total eclipse from Bowling Green, Ohio. It was impressive, but that photo is more impressive.

It was fun to be able to look directly at the sun and see the corona, and the planet Mercury just below it. It was still daytime even just a minute before totality with only a sliver of the sun exposed. Then it was like late evening, though not absolutely dark.
