What an eyesore that thing will be in less than a Decade when their Oil wealth dries up. I can see a Dark future where that whole dome has been covered in wind blown sand, dirt and dust from the Sahara.

Sean Connery in a smelly loincloth eliminating the unfit, and a young Charlotte Rampling running about bare tits akimbo.

What's not to like, sounds like a conservative's dream?

Finally, a conservative answer to climate change. We build dome cities for the rich. This is perfect for the conservative philosophy of I've got mine, fuck you!.

God, this is disgusting. We should be building dome cities on Mars, not Earth. Let Republicans have their way and we'll have to terraform Earth to make inhabitable to humans.

That's the only reason I can think of to go to Mars.

That or massive deposits of platinum left over from ancient alien septic systems

Just like the GN'R song:

Where the girls are green and the Grass is pretty...

Very impressive. Let them build the first prototype and spend the big bucks doing so. I hope they plan on utilizing solar power instead of oil.

Did cloud seeding cause Dubai floods?

Chaos engulfed the UAE after its biggest city Dubai was inundated with water in the wake of record rainfall.

Guess we'll need another huge meteor impact or advanced weapons war to turn it back into a proper desert again.
