It's obvious that the elite really really does not like true democracy, and will subvert it if someone gets elected who is not controlled by globo-homo incorporated, which wants to keep profiting from outsourcing manufacturing to China and insourcing illegals from Mexico.

Democrats are attacking the very foundation of the country to benefit their wealthy corporate donors.

They are the threat to the Constitution, and this is why they project that accusation onto Trump. They know it, and it's at the top of mind for them. They are being evil, but this causes cognitive dissonance, so they project it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection?source=patrick.net

Psychological projection is a defence mechanism in which the human ego defends itself against unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others.[1] For example, a person who is habitually rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude. It incorporates blame shifting and can manifest as shame dumping.[2]

Come on Democrats. Give up on hate and admit that Trump is right about the devastation of the working class which got him elected.

Stop promoting sodomy as normal and get back to representing working class US citizens. Be tough on China, and be tough on illegal immigration.

Then your "Trump problem" will magically go away. Trump was not elected because people love him personally, but only because he has the guts to stand up and tell the truth about the country being bled dry by globo-homo for profit. A reasonable Democrat who puts the working class first will have absolutely no problem getting elected. Unfortunately, there aren't any in the race. At least not yet. Even Tulsi Gabbard succumbed to TDS and lost sight of the central issue: capital vs labor, same as it's ever been.

Hey Tits, ever thought of contributing substantial thought and writing here?

Oh stop the sucking up to Patrick. And stop the projection.

It wouldn't be a free speech site if Patrick started banning people. One of the main gripes you hear from some of the left on this site is that there used to be more "useful", "intelligent" etc. contributors on here but they left the site because "right-wingers", some even claimed unfair moderation. What really happened is that Patrick gave everyone free speech on here and after a few that couldn't take Trump's win left right away many more in the middle were swayed towards recognizing the insanity the leftoids have become today. So we currently have a broader consensus that todays globohomo left is def worse than Trump, even for many who can't stand him. I call this a success of free discourse, albeit on a small scale. There's no better - and due to the insanity of the modern left easier - way to convince somebody than a quick and easy counter to their mindless virtue signaling.

Btw. I can see same rift in the common population and I project a win for Trump in 2020 if he stays in office.

Agreed. I recall seeing at least a handful of people on this site that have expressed a sentiment reasonably similar to this.

Sure I'll admit that hes a good conman, and that he knew how to get elected, in part by tapping into our worst demons (as opposed to our better angels).

I'll even go a step further in admitting endless fascination of those that constantly bend over backwards to defend him, lying over and over and over and over again about the amazing increase of manufacturing jobs since 2016, due to Trump.

23   marcus   2019 Oct 13, 8:29am

I just replaced that graph with the most current one (also showing it further back).

THe actual manufacturing data doesn't look nearly as bad, becasue the bigger cause of manufacturing jobs losses was automation. All the "hand made" type manufacturing jobs that were exported, were exported long ago, decades before Trump, and even Trumps own companies use these.

All the lies about Trumps policies are so blatant and so stupid, it's almost as if what Trump actually tapped in to was ignorance, hate and racism. The rest is just cover, becasue it's hard to admit what it is they actually like about him (that he's an asshole).

The lesson to all of us should be, just imagine if economic times got much worse, is it not obvious how easily fascism would arise ?

We're at war Patrick you need to start deleting subversive posts that serve to undermine our president, and spread misinformation.
If these shitbirds want to read that kind of Shit they can go to Huffington post.

If patrick did that it would turn into a boring echo chamber and they are needed to remind us just how crazy dems are.

I can see why a serious economic fall could make people become more pro usa, anti competing countries, but I don't see why people would suddenly want a dictator? Is it because you feel ppl might lose all faith in govt and want to try something new and extreme?

You can see it in the evil and polarization that's already here.

I would not call this "globo homo" - it is likely 0.00001%-ers who push the agenda which for some reason is now called left - but I 100% agree with sentiment. Trump even though I do not like him, is much better than the alternative, which was "more of the same which did not work for 99.9% of population". I can look at trUMP as a human hand grenade that hopefully will change something, although I have my doubts.

It was insisting personal insults were stopped. That's what caused the quitting, the TDS sufferers couldn't find rational reasons to justify their absolute outrage, but weren't allowed ad homs anymore.

I figure it was because those of us who called them out on their shit wouldn't be censored, er...'moderated' on the first place.

On sites like MoveOn.org, etc. posts get deleted before those intended to see them even get a chance to actually see them. So it is quite shocking for them when they encounter a non-censored site.

They hate what happened to Twitter.

Found Socrates quotes while looking about him, he spoke the truth and paid the price!
Socrates, the first critic of Democracy: "Foolish leaders of Democracy, which is a charming form of government, full of variety and disorder, and dispensing a sort of equality to equals and unequaled alike." He believed that not everyone has right to vote. He saw voting as a skill acquired by wisdom

https://bigthink.com/politics-current-affairs/why-socrates-hated-democracy-and-what-we-can-do-about-it/
Socrates was worried about the problems posed by an uneducated and easily lead population having power over the state...
Half of American adults don’t know that each state gets two senators, two thirds don’t know what the FDA does...
“Democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms”, so said Winston Churchill, noted champion of democratic ideals. Any government is only as good as its rulers.

Also, there is post from Ishaku Nenfort’s:
Socrates Prediction of the Fall of Democracy.
"Demoracy must fall because it will try to tailor to everyone. The poor will want the wealth of the rich, and democracy will give it to them. Young people will want to be respected as elderly and democracy will give it to them. Women will want to be like men and democracy will give it to them. Foreigners will want the rights of the natives and democracy will give it to them. Thieves and fraudsters will want important government functions, and democracy will give it to them. And at that time, when thieves and fraudsters finally democratically take authority because criminals and evil doers want power, there will be worse dictatorship than in the time of any monarchy or oligarchy."

marcus explain why left is pushing all lgbt crap everywhere, in white house, draping america in rainbow flags and trying to castrate kids? that is evil, it is war on the children
34   RayAmerica   2024 May 8, 8:21am

I personally have never liked using the word Democracy in order to describe our system of government. If more people understood what our system really is, perhaps they would insist on our politicians following the tenets of what the Founders really created; a Representative Republic that is based upon the Rule of Law, i.e., the Constitution. Creating and passing legislation according to the whims of the people, i.e., 'Democracy,' is not what our Founders envisioned.

One more quick point; if we suddenly decided to strictly obey the Constitution, at least 90% of the Federal Government, along with the un-constitutional legislation that they have enacted, would have to be done away with. If that happened, what kind of a country do you think we would have? It certainly would not be the oppressive, tax & spend crazy corrupt system that we have now, but would instead, be a true free-market capitalism in which individual freedom would reward hard work and thrift.

Most have left long ago, for reasons that are obvious to anyone with any sense. The ignorance and trolling from overseas paid assholes gets very tiring

Hey @marcus - do you want to comment on the trolling from overseas? Do you mean Russia?

I am amazed at what bullshit people believe from the fucking propaganda box and our "leaders" and our stupid blatantly obvious puppets we have as "elected" officials.

You have any idea how easy it is to tally the votes? I do. It's simple accounting, yet with the modern internet, "everybody is baffled."

We have a criminal syndicate in charge, and the only time anybody actually gets elected is by overwhelming majority or if it doesn't matter who is elected, because both candidates are sock puppets.

Russian collusion - just how? Did they fuck with the voting machines, stuff voting ballots - what? How did they do this - nobody can tell me, but I have morons telling me somehow they did, with no idea of what mechanism they did it with.

I'm assuming there aren't that many Americans that are that fucking stupid.

And yes. Russia runs huge trolling operations.

Show me one. These are claimed to exist, but nobody will point them out.

This is the kind who who I assume is a russian troll. No human, even totally ignorant could hold such beliefs.

OH yeah. Ignorant hate. That's some powerful shit right there.

@marcus - I can see his point. It was absolutely unimaginable to me that drag queens would be reading books to children in public schools just 20 years ago. I was in full support of gay marriage, I thought such a thing to be ridiculous as a possibility as pushing homosexuality on kids - but here we are. Why drag queens? I had a women read children's books to me in kindergarten - not some grotesque made up man, to be a parody of a woman. She wasn't beautiful or anything, but was sweet.

I knew her kids, and her husband - good people. She was the town librarian.

I know that the ancient Greeks were generally opposed to a pure democracy because they felt that direct rule by the ignorant could never turn out well.

But after a bit of searching, I can't find this particular quote. What book is it from?

Careful about Plato and his reports about Socrates!

Plato was an avowed Elitist and the first Global Elitist with the idea of a tiny specially trained Oligarchy ruling over all.
