They don't need to earn money in any legitimate business because they can print as much as they like. They just want to stay in power and print for themselves and their friends. By which I mean that they simply credit their own bank accounts and those of their friends. And you cannot audit those accounts, ever.

I think Ben Bernanke looked shaken up when he supposedly took charge of the Federal Reserve and was exposed to the true situation.

They truly don't care about inflation except to the degree that it might reduce what they can buy with their counterfeit money because inflation will cause a lot of businesses to go under.
