He has more than enough money for a life of leisure and really nothing at all to gain from Dems holding office. So I don’t get it.

People get bored. You think if you had his money you'd spend every day eating caviar, drinking Crystal and fucking supermodels, but even that gets old. This is why so many celebrities set for life financially end up overdosing on some shit and dying. So instead of overdosing on some shit Clooney enterntains himself by engaging in politics.
