This is what Trump does naturally that DeSantis has to work at (which DeSantis does more than adequately):

He rejects the frame someone else tries to impose. Most ppl don't do that. Esp when 'put on the spot'.

He then creates his own frame, sets it all up out loud as he does so, too. Like he did to this PBS bitch.

This is what is so infuriating to his 'debate' and media opponents. Most don't know how to respond in time.

So when Trump is at a debate, he only is debating with himself, really.

He also gets to take advantage of a characteristic of his campaign that only one other POTUS in history has had: Grover Cleveland.

I call it Schrödinger's Incumbency.

He gets to lean on first term incumbency when he wants to yet also can flip to being a fresh challenger in an instant. He can also be both at the same time.

Whereas Kamala has to revert to her baggage ridden Senate and AG positions or Biden's, but not both at the same time. Because if she tries it, it becomes a confusing mess like her unscripted Suessian word salads.

I made the mistake of watching msnbheehaw after this and …it was bad bad bad. Yes FOX propagandizes. But they let Trumps comments stand on their own, showing fairly lengthy clips. Even on The Five, a strictly commentary show, they played full length clips.

MSNBHEEHAW ran tiny clips, completely out of context. Their supposed hard news anchor was full of adjectives, with zero actual reporting.

I think anyone I speak with in the future that brings up anything related to politics, I will first question what their primary news source is. MSNBHEEHAW is pure propaganda.
