There were plenty of hot babes in the bay area outside of programming, during the dot com boom and up until the housing bust in 2008 (SFs south beach amlnd Marina district were quite golden for many years, also menlo park/palo alto around university) with a small revival during the Trump years. However many businesses moved out of SF and many out of CA, and womyn follow the money. Covid, blm and wokeness put the final nail in the coffin for norcal urban areas. Socal still has more. AZ Scottsdale area and Utah salt lake city area are probably the best, Midwest rural areas are still ok as well.

SoCal has lots of hot women (film industries) but they are generally vipers if they are native born (born of the narcissistic bitch hordes who were looking for screen fame). They'll run you right up the money and status scale and then figure out how to divorce you for profit. Profit divorce is a real thing, and the monied men are apparently easy prey. Where people should be happy in the sunshine, it is an unremittingly soul scorching, shallow, grasping ethic.

A ob doctor I know retired to Orange County with his wife (where she's from). Their daughter went to college in Colorado, and the culture was so attractive to her by comparison, she refused to move back to SoCal to be with her parents because she loathed the materialistic crap afterward, even though they tried to bribe her every which way they could. I talked with her a bit and she was horrified at the thought of going back 'to that'.
