I was turned on to this stuff by a hipster at an Air BnB my wife ad I stayed at not that long ago. Fermented tea made by a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast. Its supposed to have various health benefits but I just like the taste. Flavored with fruit or herbs.

It seems like most of the commercial brands sell it in bottles, which seems legit. Synergy is my favorite, but Brew Dr. is a close second.

Anybody else drink this stuff?

I've had it and seems good, but I love coffee too much to displace it with any kind of tea. If I drink too much caffeine then I can't sleep.

I like it. Don't think there's naturally occuring caffeine in that stuff.

I stick to water. I'm sure it's healthy, but I don't like flavored drinks besides beer at night. I'll "maybe" have a Coke once a month. Otherwise I don't like sugar and caffeine beverages. Used to be a huge coffee drinker. Done with that.

Also if you drink this stuff daily it gets pretty expensive for what it is per bottle. I'd rather just get a supplement and pound a gallon of water a day.

Roughly 1/4 the caffeine of an equivalent volume of coffee and not enough alcohol to be of concern to the regulators. It varies, but it doesn’t keep me up at night. I think if you weren’t drinking coffee, perhaps it could be a different story.

Interesting. I learned something today.

After I saw someone's kombucha in his refrigerator I was so disgusted I would not drink it, ever.

That looks like piss from someone who has the clap and kept it in a large jar.

It looks bad, but if people like it, whatever. Water is the best at the end of the day. I get nutrients from food and supplements.

Fact is there are always trends in foods and drinks. I rarely see anyone with a Monster or Red Bull anymore. They destroy your heart, people just don't know it yet. Heart issues are going to skyrocket in the next decade with the 40-50 aged people that have been drinking that shit forever.

Water is your body. Just drink that. Coffee is fine, but if you can't get alert and get going, something else is wrong. I might be slow the first 5 minutes, but once I'm moving I'm good when I wake up even with 4 hours of sleep. Don't need a special drink or coffee. I also believe it's a placebo effect type thing.

Actually it varies significantly. 1/4 seems to be on the high end,

I've been drinking it for a couple of years now (Synergy Ginger). It's recommended to not drink more than 8 oz. of it per day. For most people, about 4 oz. is ideal. One of the benefits is that it helps maintain good gut health, and can be an aid for weight loss. I was drinking about 4 oz. every day and after about a month I started losing weight. My normal weight is 155 lbs. (height is 5' 10'') and I went down to 145 which is too low. People began asking me if there was something wrong. I cut back and am now back to my normal 155.

By the way, do not shake the bottle due to its carbonation. Gently turn it upside down in order to distribute the probiotic material towards the top.

I was unaware that you can lose weight drinking the stuff.

Maybe I could cut 10 lbs of "flubber" with it.

Coffee tastes good to me.
Tequila also.
