What's a Founding Father?

There should be movies about them. Such movies would help unify Americans by presenting our common heritage in ways that are easy to digest and to remember.

Wasn't the musical, Hamilton, exactly that, a story about the Founding Fathers using A.H., as the lynchpin?

It will all be about slavery IF movies were to ever happen. It would end up being devisive. That's what Hollywood does. It would focus on the negatives of the times but those were the norm of the time.

Also most slaves had it pretty good. Sure there were bad slave owners that did vile stuff, but I'd bet most blacks would do better as an 1800's slave than their current situation having worked in Chiago for 15 years in poor black neighborhoods.

Our government actively promotes the killing of blacks. They can't get decent food. Most are fat. But a movie would focus on the topic of slavery 100%. Founding Fathers got the blacks here. They could be stuck in Africa. This country would look much more like Sweden. Blacks should celebrate slavery to be honest. They're likely not alive and living in the best country on the planet.

They probably all had tan faces during the summer months really. They worked outside or were outside most of the time. Your transportation was a horse. They had no electricity so why be inside? No TV, no internet, no AC etc. Sure they weren't working the fields, but I wouldn't be inside without modern creature comforts. I'd be outside and look pretty brown.

Not defending google. But their free time was likely in winter where they looked whiter. So that's why they're so pale in most paintings. Remember no sunscreen. So they'd just go from tan to white quickly. I have fair skin but get pretty tan in the summer. So the darkness might not be all that off.

But, but, but ... the Founding Fathers were all slave owners blah, blah, blah so they should be hated and their statues torn down and their founding documents all torn up and rewritten blah, blah, blah ...

It's the same reason the Black Nationalists think everybody in the Classic Era was black. They point to Paul or Alexander the Great and say "So Black".

Ignoring that all the women are drawn white in the same fresco. In Hellenism, women stayed indoors to cook, sew, etc. - esp. higher class women - so they never got tan. In fact finding a wife who sewed like crazy was a boon to a man for extra income, back before the Romantic Religion began in 1300AD.

We filled the pool in, so we're not outdoors as much. Wife runs in the morning before sunrise. She also had a removable skin cancer issue. She's fine, but she's less outdoors after that scare. Has to go to the dermatologist quarterly.

She didn't even tell me until recently. Still pissed about that. With 3 kids under the roof I need to know that type of shit. I ain't remarrying if she passes. There will be a bitch that flocks in and tries to get me because I'll have $3-4M. I'm out. Don't need it. I can pull a Rin and go where it's legal to screw a chick. My friends are great, but I like my alone time. I hang out 2-3 times a week as is.
