Still believing in honest elections and polls...LOL
James Craig
There is a decent chance yes that with heightened election integrity awareness
Gretchen Whitmer is claiming she never forced Covid patients into nursing homes. For the sake of all who suffered under her orders, here are the receipts.
Until someone files conspiracy to commit murder charges against her, she's laughing at the AMerican legal system.
Nobody is willing to go up against the entire establishment, so I think she is safe.
meanwhile, on the internet, the spicy is getting dialed up. it’s not only revealing these people for who they are (here’s governor “gretch” whitmer mocking the eucharist with doritos)
these least empathetic of humans who have so weaponized performative demands that we empathized with them whatever the cost to us and all their marginal minds and marginal ideas are going to go back to being marginalized. they are way out past where they can swim and the only thing holding them up is the fear others have had of calling them out.
and that, mis amigos, is over.
as the tipping point tips, calling things by their real names will become the new vogue and no longer will the demoralization of having to kowtow to abject idiots and crybullies and make pretense to their virtue and morality weigh so heavily upon us. the “remoralization” both ethically and of the public mood will be the virtuous opposite of the vicious cycle that has so offended sense and sensibility lo these long last 16 years or so.
the problem with using absurdist doctrines to demoralize a population is that if you ever lose the power to compel, you’re left standing way out on an absurd limb with your pants down and no real explanation for what you were doing apart from “we meant well” when, clearly, you didn’t.
Former Detroit police-chief-turned-GOP candidate James Craig leads incumbent governor Gretchen Whitmer by six points in a recent Michigan gubernatorial poll.
Among potential Michigan voters, Craig garners 50.4 percent support to Whitmer’s 44.4 percent, a September 2021 poll from the Trafalgar Group indicated.
For party participation in the sample size, 53.4 percent identified as Democrats, 35 percent identified as Republicans, as 11.6 percent identified as independents.
Craig entered the political arena after serving as Detroit’s police chief for eight years. Retiring from his post with the Detroit police department, he heeded the encouragement of the Michigan GOP and announced his bid for governor of the state. He is now the frontrunner among nine Republican candidates vying to oust Whitmer, who received backlash from conservatives over the last year for her management of the pandemic, which was marked by prolonged lockdowns and punitive COVID restrictions.
In the past, Craig has compared Whitmer’s administration to a monarchical reign from which Michigan voters should declare “independence.”
“Make no mistake, at the ballot box in the year of 2022, we will be celebrating our independence from the rule of Governor Whitmer,” he said in a speech in July.
The Trafalgar poll, which surveyed 1,097 likely general-election voters in Michigan from September 13 to September 15, showed an increase in favorability for Craig from last month. In August, an EPIC-MRA poll of the race showed Craig and Whitmer nearly tied at 44 percent vs 45 percent.
